We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Wielpole. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was small but perfect for my husband and me. We loved our little balcony. Great to have a small fridge which we used after our trip to the farmer's market. It's very close to St. Mary's Basilica (see pic) and Old Town - even walkable to the train station if you're a good walker but close to trams if you're not.

A fantastic hotel. Spotlessly clean, convenient, with the best reception staff you could wish for. It's the little touches we loved. The fresh homemade lemonade with sugar syrup, the little daily 'fortune' scrolls, and the free flavoured vodka in reception. The girls who worked there always welcomed us with cheery smiles and were so willing to help .. always offering to make coffee or to fetch anything we needed. They were amazing. The best reception staff I've ever come across. The room was spotless, and had a sofa (a huge bonus after a lot of walking). The breakfast was good, there is a lift, and good air-con. We will definitely go there again next time we return to Krakow.

Wonderful location, extremely helpful and friendly staff, a small but comfortable room, and a good breakfast buffet make Hotel Wielopole a fine place to stay in Krakow.

Loved everything about this hotel! 100% we will be returning - had a fantastic stay and so grateful for the extremely friendly and helpful reception ladies who couldn’t do enough to help with any arrangements and also provided the best restaurant suggestions!

Great stay! Room was clean and everything worked properly. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was amazing. I'm planning to visit again in December and Hotel Wielopole will be my 1st choice in places to stay.

The staff were super friendly and helpful with things like restaurant recommendations, luggage storage, and heating up leftovers for us in their microwave. Location is perfect--walkable to everything we wanted to visit. And parking was very convenient due to the arrangement they have with the Holiday Inn just across the street. Rooms felt more unique and charming than a chain hotel. Would definitely stay again!!

This is an amazing hotel. In an excellent location, superb for the main square and other within walking distance of local attractions. The staff were so friendly and helpful and organised a car for us to the airport when we left Nothing was too much trouble Our room was lovely. Very quiet with a comfy bed and good bathroom with lovely products. The breakfast was great and there was always plenty of choice. Would highly recommend saying here

The location is great - easily walkable to the market square or to Kazimierz. Staff are exceptionally helpful and cheerful - brilliant. Breakfast was a spread of many choices - really tasty ham and meats, cheese, yogurt, fresh fruit, fresh bread rolls, some hot dishes - scrambled egg and sausages. Loads of choice. Good tea bags 😀. Room was too warm for us but we opened the window. Lift was quick to arrive. The staff could not have put more effort into making our stay great. Very welcoming. The hotel is older style but very comfortable.

The Wielopole hotel is very well located, near the Old Town with good access to public transportation. The staff are warm and welcoming and attend to details promptly. They called taxis for us which were much less expensive than those at the taxi stand. Our pick up point for our Auschwitz tour was across the street. When staff learned that we had an early pick up for our tour they offered to provide a takeaway breakfast without us even asking. All in all we felt well care for at this European style hotel. The rooms were smaller than would be found in North America but that is the European standard.

First and foremost, each and every member of the staff was wonderful. They helped me secure a ride from the airport and tour tickets to Auschwitz - all this before I arrived. Once there - they were pleasant, knowledgeable and caring. Let's just say one of the best anywhere. The room was nice - not too big - not too small. It was quiet. The best part is the location. It was walking distance to just about anything and everything you'd want to see. I will stay there again.

The Hotel Wielopole had a great staff who arranged an airport pickup and gave us recommendations for restaurants and shops. Casia was especially helpful. The hotel has a perfect location close to the Old Town and public transport. When we were too tired to go into town one night we were delighted to find the Italian restaurant on the premises was very good. If we get the opportunity to return to Krakow we would definitely stay here again.
