I arrived in Zakone in the evening with three of my buddies. We weren't able to find a place to stay, but the staff assisted us even though there wasn't enough room in the hostel, so we got the last two beds and two of us slept on their couch. That's the kind of service you only find in places that truly care about their customers. Great staff, clean rooms and decent breakfast for a great price. I would absolutely recommend it if you're in Zakone. Many thanks, guys!.

After a long day of travel and a cold day up the mountain, this is the perfect place to stay. We arrived early and had a great experience, natalia was very accommodating to all of our needs, including some. The rooms were spotless and warm. The bunk was spacious, clean, and cozy! There were plentiful power outlets and great beds that did not squeak. When we got to Zakone, we had no plan, but natalia recommended eateries, bars, mountain tops, and rental shops, which exceeded our expectations. All of our luggage had been moved to a new room ready for us when we were off the mountain, and we asked to prolong our stay another day, which was no problem. A decent kitchen was readily accessible for brunch. Local knowledge and top customer service added to the enjoyment of our vacation. Thank you natalia!.

A good hostel for backpackers. In a great location, the bus station, the city's center, and the mountains are all nearby. There are only a few dorms there, a pool table in the center that isn't fully functional, and a modest kitchen that is well-suited for cooking if you plan on staying for a few days, which most likely will. You should make reservations ahead since it is quite small because it sells out during peak seasons because it is so small. The staff was excellent, and there are also really helpful hiking maps that depict the nearby mountains that are really helpful for planning hikes.

I would stay again, but if the wifi was so uncomfortable for me, I would try another hotel. Both the facilities and the breakfast are very basic. The wifi was terrible, almost non-existent! Although you can be sure it's clean, you must create your own bed. The bed frames were very shaky. The 10.00 noise bang meant getting a good night's sleep. Nonetheless, the staff was a real delight at this hostel. It was wonderful to meet you all! The location is also excellent, only a 5 minute's drive stop and 2 minutes to the stores!
