After a long and incredibly hot day in the Cabo do Alarm, we spent one night there. The house is immaculately clean, the rooms are extremely comfortable, and the breakfast is excellent. The staff is charming and the setting is beautiful and quiet. Will definitely come back. Excellent value too.

Casa do Alarm was our first stop in Portugal. warm and friendly staff in a very clean environment. Very nice property in the country. Very accommodating service was always available. Breakfast was nicely done, a small fridge was available in the dining area for personal items. Espresso machine 247 in the dining area.

This place was great. Beautifully maintained interior and exterior. Beautiful countryside setting. The housekeeper is a wonderful lady. She served us dinner during our half board stay. She made sure we had a pleasant stay. I would definitely stay here again one day and for many more days.

I suggest you come back. The Casa do Alarm is a wonderful choice if you're searching for calm and luxury along the Camino Portuguese. A husband and wife team runs it as well. A grandma runs everywhere as well. She is charming and able to even speak some English! It has a lovely pool surrounded by neatly manicured lawn with sun shades and chairs, offering the exhausted traveler a place to relax. Not to mention the spacious lobby, game rooms, balconies, and more. The large dining area is beautiful and opulent. There is also an open bar. Grab a drink or two. They also have an open bar. The rooms amaze any luxury hotel Ive seen. It is spacious and has lots of places to store your belongings. Nothing worse than slipping over your bags. The towels and the mattress are just worth it. I had already eaten a big lunch, but the dinner I saw another guest ate looked delicious. The internet is shaky. It works for about an hour before halts, but this seems to be the standard in Portugal. I didn't realize how far out of town this was four miles away, so I took a taxi to get me here. But I'm so thankful I did because it's worthwhile! breakfast is included.
