We stayed at a hotel and chose a bed and breakfast because it was a perfect match. Great location 10 minutes one way to the old town and 10 minutes on foot to the popular beach of Prada de Dona Ana. Old town has lovely cobbled streets and many restaurants great for people watching. Maids from the hotel are always housekeeping. Large pool area with plenty of beds, but because they are on a deck so there isn't much space to move around. You can also access a private gym via the hotel key that includes excellent facilities and classes. Breakfast is good but not a lot of choice, and it has excellent food Fresh fruit, yogurt, cold meats, and cheese bread, and those lovely portuguese tarts. Also hot options are fried and scrambled egg beans mushrooms bacon sausage not English bacon or sausage staff all friendly. I would stay here again and recommend it to others who plan to visit Lago.

I reserved four nights in October. I had excellent prior phone contact. The glasses-clad receptionist was really welcoming and had excellent hospitality skills. I was given a voucher for a complimentary port at the bar. The high-end studio, however, far outperformed expectations. Recently developed, contemporary, immaculately clean, and quite roomy. The bathroom was modest but equipped with a superb shower. The view wasn't great and there wasn't any light, but since it rained the majority of the time, I didn't use the terrace in the end. With good-quality bedding, the bed was extremely comfy. Sockets and lights near the bed. Air conditioning. Excellent wifi. Large to include Sky News and you Tube. Modern kitchen with a wide variety of cooking utensils. Free access to the gym, which is also used by the locals. Beans, bacon, egg, mushrooms, salad, cheese, bread, rolls, cakes, pastries, yoghurts, fruits, and cereals were among the highlights of the meal. For some reason, the indoor pool wasn't water. I especially enjoyed the stir-fry veg, thank you for bringing us vegetarians! Excellent location, just a short walk to the old town and beach, and a short walk to the spa supermarket. The rooms here were beautiful with a balcony that was well-kept and had working wifi and air conditioning. Their breakfast was quite disappointing though because the rest was fantastic. And then, the location was close to the town so we could have lunch and dinner elsewhere. Then, the service was very welcoming and attentive. Subsequently, they also provide a really flexible check-in and check-out times.

We arrived just before dawn, assuming we were checking in. The receptionist was welcoming and immediately offered to check if an apartment was available. She checked us in early and explained how to navigate the hotel. We stayed in a premium onebedroom apartment, which was exactly as advertised. The apartment was clean, contemporary, and quite large. Both the living room and the bedroom had air conditioning and a to. The terrace had a table and two chairs and was large. We had no problems getting a pool chair because it had a lot of seating. The pool was wellkept by staff frequently. The pool may be a little cold at first, but this wasnt a major concern. Theres plenty of room for a great swim as there are two large pools. You may purchase drinks and snacks at the snack counter and take them back to your longer. Breakfast occurred between at least 10 am. Breakfast was a buffet with a mix of continental and cooked options. There were little cake slices every day, the chocolate cake was delicious. There was also a wide variety of bread and rolls. The fruit selection was among the best Ive ever had, including fresh melon, pineapple, and kiwi slices as well as fruit salad. The hotels location was lovely to me. It is in a quiet neighborhood, only a 10 to 15 minute walk from the old town, where there are many restaurants.

We have visited Squalus twice, and this time was no exception. Every day, our hotel maintained its impeccable cleanliness and cleanliness. Everything was provided, including bath towels, bathroom towels, and kitchenware. This time of year, it was peaceful and lovely, and the pool area is exceptionally clean. The staff is especially welcoming and accommodating. There is a lot to discover in the old town, which is only a short stroll away. It is a lovely location to unwind and read in the lobby area. We will be back.
