This is one of Alentejo's many whitewashed towns, but this is the most spectacular. The casa Dona Antonia is an experience in and of itself, small on a hill. Esmeralda welcomes you in a historic house that has undergone renovation and has blended old and new. Esmeralda welcomes you and has a beautiful patio for breakfast. She is a very nice person! Ask for the Dona Antonia room, which includes an ancient bedroom, a modern bathroom, and a fantastic patio from which you can view the valley in front of you and a beautiful sunset.

This hotel provides the highest standard of hospitality, a very simple but comfortable room with a balcony overlooking a large plain, in a true family house. The best quality and service with a comfortable breakfast that meets all the expectations. Unbeatable price and profit ratio.

There was no lighting on the floors and it was dark. There are steps everywhere but a very nice lady who serves breakfast. Try another place, it is a beautiful hilltop village with breathtaking views.

This hotel is situated across the courtyard from the hotel and faces the open valley. There are some people who park and double park on this location just until late at afternoon. The AC was critical because it gets very much light. The parking is free but not directly close to the house.

We will definitely return. This time, I stayed at Casa Dona Antonia with friends who had stayed before. Everything was perfect from the moment I arrived at the front door. Check-in was simple and the rooms were of an excellent standard with nice facilities and beautiful views. Breakfast was of very high caliber. Felipe and his sister Esmeralda made you feel very welcome and went out of their way to make your stay special. The bed and breakfast's position within the castle walls made for an ideal and memorable experience for our two nights. Alan and Adrian Wells. January 2020.
