The place is very comfortable, especially because the rooms are so comfortable, which is really why I love Lisbon over Porto. Besides that, it's in the heart of the city. Another wonderful thing about this hotel is the employees' cheerful nature and willingness to assist in any way they can. Other than that, they provide suggestions for restaurants and coffee shops. Plus, the front desk clerk named Catalina is among the most lovely people I have ever met, and we really enjoy this type of hotel with a personal touch. So, if you can, visit here.

Very excellent central location. I emailed a couple of questions before we arrived and they quickly responded. Small room, but we expected that. Bathroom small but contemporary. Shower was powerful but kept hot and cold. Small lift and if someone didn't close the door on ith floor, it meant we had to use the stairs. The bed and pillows weren't the best, but slept well. We were on the ith floor where the lift stops. The next floor has steep stairs, which I'm glad I didn't have to carry suitcases up and down. Breakfast was good, but hot drinks weren't so good. The staff is very nice. Despite some flaws, we had a great time. We didn't expect it to be perfect because it's not 5-star and we didn't pay 5-star rates.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel with outstanding staff in an old building. In reality, I have never encountered a friendlier or more helpful hotel staff anywhere I have traveled in Europe, Mexico, or South America. All three of the three women who alternated working under Sara, Catalina, and Paula speak several languages and were happy to answer questions, provide suggestions, and simply converse. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the rooms are spotless. When people checked in late at night, our first-floor, up the stairs, was a little noisy, but this was the only negative aspect we had during our several nights there. If I return to Porto, I would most certainly stay there again.

Great location. Our topfloor had a fantastic large balcony. Breakfast was good but not great. Bad thing is the elevator took us to a level then we had to carry bags up a ladder stair to our room. The room and bath are small. The coffee I had for breakfast from the machine was bitter.

The rooms are also small. Huge enough to be comfortable, but if you're used to large hotels this isn't for you, it's a beautiful hotel worth visiting. You are welcomed warmly from the minute you get there. The entire staff at this hotel provides excellent service. The hotel is incredibly unusual and probably won't appeal to certain individuals because of its age and general architecture. The hotel is situated on the run das flores, a busy side street in the old part of town. Fortunately, the hotel has superb soundproofing to prevent noise. Sao Benton station is only a short walk away, and the metro is only a short distance away. The overall cost of lodging here was very reasonable. Breakfast was excellent. I wholeheartedly endorse this hotel. Several things to be aware of, the hotel is on a street with very limited vehicle access, so it is unlikely that you'll be dropped off at the door unless the taxi has special access arrangements. The elevator, in particular, is extremely small, but I'm confident the hotel staff will arrange to deliver your luggage to your room.
