Spectacular views! At a distance of one night, I spent my time at Face Medieval. The location is about him to the event, you have to drive, not a pleasant walk. Employees were competent, but the overall environment, architecture, breakfast, and rooms are not typical of a four-star hotel. Amazingly, the hotel is on the side of a major road with a breathtaking mountain view, but because of the location, no room can take full advantage of the views! My room had a view of a private house while I was away.

It was the perfect base for excursions into Porto, even though we were visiting for a nearby wedding. The hotel was a touch dated, but immaculately clean. The employees were amazing. They were amazing, they went above and beyond for us, very friendly and helpful, and it was obvious that they enjoyed and took pride in their work.

Overall, I enjoyed the hotel on our big walk. There is a jacuzzi and indoor swimming pool, plus the bed was comfortable. They even allowed us to use the lockers and pool area before late check-in.

Not a good place to stay unless you are desperate. Only a Malposta stop on the Camino. Jewish hotel in the style of a premier inn. Roadside stop. Clean room and pleasant reception staff. The hotel bar wasn't open on a Sunday and had no access to decent food or drink near by. Restaurant next door very good but expensive for most Camino travellers. The worst thing was there was no AC and the explanation was that the system could only deal with hot or cold and even though it was 22 degrees, they changed it to only use winter heating.

Our experience here was excellent, even though we didn't remain long enough to enjoy the facilities. This hotel offers a fully functional spa pool, sauna, pool, and gym. Also, they have double sliding doors, which let you avoid the sound and the cold from outside.
