Quinta das Lágrimas is a 5-star family-friendly hotel housed in a historic 19th-century palace with colonial architectural design, set within a 10,000 m² park just 500 metres from the centre of Coimbra. This charming property offers a serene escape while being a short distance from local attractions, shopping, dining, and public transport links.
The hotel features 54 luxuriously appointed guestrooms, including unique Palace Rooms (which once hosted the Duke of Wellington), Garden Rooms overlooking the botanical garden, and Spa Rooms with views of the Quinta’s woods or Coimbra city. All rooms are equipped with minibars, complimentary wireless internet access, phones, safes, desks, and private bathrooms with shower/tub combinations, complimentary toiletries, and bidets.
Guests can indulge at the Bamboo Garden Spa, offering massages, body treatments, and beauty therapies. Recreational amenities include a health club, an outdoor pool, an indoor pool, a golf driving range, and a 9-hole golf course. The hotel also boasts a library filled with thousands of ancient books.
