We chose Hotel Spot for its space, location and flexibility of tailoring the accommodation to suit the size of our party. It was the comprehensive and excellent reviews of returning guests to Hotel Spot Family Suites that really helped us choose this property over its competitors. We were not disappointed! Our experience far exceeded our expectations, and my advice to anyone considering a stay in Porto is to read the reviews and be confident you've made the right choice, The Hotel Spot gets booked out quickly, so do not hesitate if you are considering making a reservation. The front desk staff were amazing. We arrived tired after a long journey, made more angst by a busy and 'mad' exit from Campahna station. Their calm and professional approach quickly put us at ease and our anxieties melted away with their helpfulness and patience. As mentioned, earlier many reviewers have posted similar comments, and a lot more eloquently than I have. We had to have a quiet smile to ourselves on checkout as we watched a guest enquiring about how expensive he had found the parking. He was clearly taking up time at the front desk, probably trying to save a few Euros. We could not help but listen in,. The reception member was in no position to get involved in a financial negotiation about the matter, but allowed the guest his opportunity to state his case. We were impressed at how the staff member conducted himself, all customers being treated with patience and respect regardless.

Exellent hôtel pour 4 nuits avec nos 2 ados. Nous étions dans une chambre familiale 1coin cuisine séparait nos lits. Nous avions chacun 1 balcon. Le personnel était poli et serviable, changement de serviettes tous les jours. Le petit déjeuner au top avec un buffet à volonté. L hôtel est bien situé dans le centre ville pas besoin de voiture. Rien à redire on recommande.

Loved the location. Everything’s closed by. There’s a grocery store, shops, restaurants and a laundromat in the area. The breakfast is pretty decent, it gets boring after 5 days. Scrambled eggs and little wieners are served every day.I wish they would do fried eggs and bacon sometimes. I will book this hotel again when I travel to Porto.
