The hotel's renovation last year demonstrates that the whole room is brand new. Although not the biggest, the furnishings are lovely and lighthearted. A large terrace with a view of the sea is a plus. The beach and golf course are across the street because the hotel is out of Venice, though it is preferable to drive there. It was peaceful in the evenings, but in the offseason, it will undoubtedly be different. The receptionist was courteous, and the continental breakfast was adequate, with plenty of options. The balcony lights are out of phase, and they all disappear around midnight. Although I recognize that this is intended to capture the hotel's nighttime outlook when viewed from the outside, it would be nice to have a drink on the balcony without the lights on to keep mosquitoes away. Since there are good drapes inside, it's not difficult to fall asleep because the balcony lights are not in use. The bathroom's lamps could also be less intense.

This was our first time in this part of Portugal, and we will definitely visit this region again this year at the same hotel. In August of this year, we stayed here and had a great time. The hotel is located just outside of town, and you must have a car. You may enter the hotel using a free, secure car parking area, but underground parking is available for a fee of 5 per night in 2019. The beaches are peaceful, and the beach is just across the street. The hotel has undergone a number of renovations, and it is incredibly worthy of four-star treatment. Two rooms with a sea view were available for us. Both rooms were identical, with their furnishings in blue and white. The balcon had new comfortable seats, a small table, and the beds were extremely cozy. Additionally, the room provided a safe, which was big enough for a laptop, closet, to, a coffee maker, and a mini bar. We were given free toiletries and an air conditioner in addition to a shower over the bath. The only downside I would have is the shower screen doesn't move because you have to climb in the bath on the sloped end without a grab rail or non-slip mat and where you placed the bath mat, to step out of the bath, which is precisely where the door stop is located. First off, the checkout employee was quite unfriendly. She would not upgrade me since the hotel was completely empty. The room service wasnt available until 630 when I arrived at around 330. I was hungry and skipped lunch! I called the front desk at 645, but there was no response. I walked down. The bar was empty. A different person at the front desk was also there and was just as unhelpful as the first. The gentleman who took my order was great. The shower has only a rain shower head and the bed is awful. There are cushions as well. Cooling system, lovely balcony.
