This restaurant is directly across the road from the Dompedro Hotel and serves good food for a reasonable price. We ate there several times while we were there on holiday. That is very convenient if you stay at the Dompedro Hotel.

The atmosphere here was quite welcoming with an atmosphere with a good sense of place and feel, the food served was really tasty.

In general, it was a wonderful weekend. I will book here again. This hotel is very spotless and tidy. I just stayed for two nights but was more than happy. Breakfast was quite delicious. The evening meal was satisfactory, but the restaurant was full and possibly closed off, so service was a bit delayed, and the main meal was a little well done, but we had more than enough. After that, the bottle of wine made up for that. The following day, we enjoyed fantastic coffee.

This place served me twice while visiting Madeira. We ordered the same meal twice in a row. Start with prawns and in the main it is calamari. The best prawn I have ever had. Calamari was also very well cooked and served with beautiful veggies and sauce. I can not say enough good food.

I would recommend this place to anyone who visits the machine. We went here with my husband for lunch after our funeral day trip. I had pork medallions in mushroom sauce, and he had chicken stroganoff with potatoes and a selection of veggies that were cooked to perfection and not mushy or crunchy. Delicious food large portions and good value for money. We felt a little let down because we had to go find the waiter because we had to hurry for the bus. I wish I had taken things slower and I hope he wasn't too out.
