The view!!! While deciding where to stay in the Azores, I do not think the reviews were clear about the view at this location. Truly, the view was amazing. We were lucky that our room had an incredible view, but the view can be enjoyed from many places throughout the resort. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The room had a hot tub, and it was a great for unwinding at the end of a long day exploring. The food was very good at dinner, breakfast just OK in my opinion. The mocktail (Sunset Sour) was the best mocktail I’ve ever had. Creative, delicious, local ingredients… all contribute to the food and drink at this location. We had a couples massage in the outdoor hut, listening to the waves crash against the shore. Extremely enjoyable and memorable.

We spent an amazing week at the Santa Barbara Eco-Lodge! We were a group of 4 women (mom and 3 adult daughters). We had a beautiful suite overlooking the gardens and pond with ducks. The staff was amazing attending to every question we had. The resort is high on a cliff overlooking the ocean and beach with stunning views and beautiful sunsets. We enjoyed our daily breakfast with fresh juices, fruits and a wonderful selection of eggs, omelettes, and yogurt bowls. We also enjoyed a few dinners at the restaurant and nightcaps from the bar. The cute beach bar is an added bonus and was so fun to grab a cocktail and watch the sunset. Thank you for a wonderful time and we hope to be back.

The hotel itself was so beautiful and clean and inviting. The included breakfast was incredible and so was all the other dinners we decided to have there as well. Staff was so friendly and helpful. We would definetly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the island.

Die Anlage war sehr schön und sehr gepflegt, sowie das Zimmer. Das Personal super Nett. Die Pools sind leider alle kalt (für November also nicht zu gebrauchen), jedoch hatten wir einen Jacuzzi der war himmlisch vorallem am Abend nach einem Wandertag. Das Frühstück war jeden Tag mit einem anderen Smoothie sowie Obst und einem anderen Cake of the Day sehr süß gestaltet und brachte Abwechslung rein. Man bekam immer einen Korb mit Brotvarianten und einen Teller mit Marmelade, Käse und Wurst jedoch konnte man jeden Tag aus einer Frühstückskarte, Ei Variante sowie Pancakes dazu bestellen was das Frühstück auch wieder sehr Abwechslungsreich machte. Zusätzlich wird dadurch nicht so viel verschwendet und wegschmeissen sowie bei Buffets, was auch dem ganzen Stil von Nachhaltigkeit der Anlage untermalte. Was auch sehr süß war, eine Nachroutine, wobei man Abends ein Holztablett mit Tee und einem Gute Nachtspray fürs Kissen zum besprühen bekam (dieses roch sehr angenehm und nicht penetrant). Eine wirklich schöne Idee, sodass man sich komplett erholt fühlt. Was wir auch gut fanden man bekam ein Smartphone beim Einchecken, wo täglich einem Infos für z.B tägliche Ausflugsideen zugesendet bekam. Sowie wichtige Infos zur Anlage (z.B. Rasen wird heute gemäht usw.) - und falls man fragen hätte könnte man darüber sofort mit dem Personal kommunizieren. Tolle Idee :) Der Parkplatz war auch sehr groß und in der Anlage. Einkaufmöglichkeiten gleich im nächsten Ort aber nur mit Auto erreichbar.

Wonderful, very unique hotel. Full access to a long beach where you can watch the surfers. Staff were wonderful and attentive. Also, great location on the North coast to do day trips!

Das Frühstück war prima. Man konnte aus einem vielfältigen Angebot wählen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Verkleidung an manchen Gebäuden fällt leider an manchen Gebäuden ab. Vielleicht lag dies aber am Hurrikan Gabrielle.
