This was a great hotel if you want to be close to all the sites but not right in the thick of it. Everything was within walking distance. Great staff and very comfortable and clean hotel.

Location is excellent. Hotel is simple, almost minimalist but had everything I wanted. Comfortable bed, nice sheets, quiet room, air conditioning that isn’t noisy and isn’t over top of the bed. A kettle, bathroom counter space, a big shower, nice towels. Room for suitcases, a desk and a chair. No musty smell or questionable carpets. Clean. Affordably priced.

We really liked the rook with terrasse, it was large and very clean. The location was excellent, close to everything. Breakfast is really good also. The only thing missing is a little refrigerator in the bedroom

Quarto super organizado, limpeza diaria, localização especial. Equipe de funcionários maravilhosa, nos atenderam super bem desde o primeiro minuto. Agradecimento especial para a Rillery que ajudou muito com um problema que pessoal que tivemos. Nota 10. Voltaremos com certeza.

Location is perfect. It is close to a market place and the train station. Walking distance to the old town. Breakfast was great. One thing I wasn’t sure about was the sheet and blanket feel a little damp for the first day. Not sure why. Maybe because the only ventilation was in the bathroom and the shape of the room was a bit irregular that air circulation was very efficient.

Warm welcome from lovely staff, excellent location, very clean rooms, great shower, and nice to have a balcony. Very quiet despite a building refurb opposite. Also very easy access from airport by metro in 30 mins. Slept well despite the relatively firm mattress - but most Portuguese beds are rock hard! This wasn’t. Would come again.

This compact hotel hit all the right points for comfort. The room maximizes space with ingenious design. A modern bathroom came w a strong wall mounted hair dryer and good water pressure and spot on water temperature. The mattress was the best we had in our two week journey around Portugal and the lighting was well considered for all tasks. The room came with a safe and multiple English speaking channels on the wall mounted TV. The staff was so nice and accommodating. I look forward to return to this conveniently located hotel.

Me and my husband stayed for a night at The Gate Hotel. Staffs are very polite and helpful. Thank you to Hillary Gonzalo for being so nice and making sure that we're please with everything. The room is very clean and the bathroom is updated and very clean as well. Its so sad that it was only for a night coz need to go to Lisbon. Location is great. Highly recommend to my friends and will sure comeback for more time to explore beautiful Porto.

Perfektes Hotel Mitten in der Stadt, dadurch leider entsprechend laut. Nichts für Ruhesuchende, aber für Nachtschwärmer. Super freundliches Personal, sehr hilfsbereit. Ausgezeichnetes Frühstück.

I really enjoyed my time at The Gate! Having staff on hand 24hrs a day is reassuring. The daily breakfast was a nice touch with a friendly attendant to get your egg order. I’m a sucker for huge windows and my room had two that opened to the main road. I would absolutely stay at The Gate again!

Limpieza de la habitación correcta. Ubicación céntrica. Costos municipales adicionales y no comunicados/mencionados en el precio pagado a expedía, los mismos que tuvieron que ser pagados en el hotel al momento de hacer el checkout
