The property was very well kept. The room was so clean and smelled nice. I loved the size of the bathroom. The property was very secure and in a nice neighborhood with plenty of restaurants close by. The beach was only a few blocks away.

Nice little hotel in a great location, close to the beach, restaurants and shops. Our room was large, with a sofa, and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed sitting in the courtyard beside the koi pond, and we appreciated that the hotel provided beach chairs and mats.

It was my first time staying at a boutique hotel, and I was honestly very impressed. From the moment we arrived, the receptionist was incredibly welcoming and even provided us with a helpful guide sheet of things to do in the area, which was such a nice touch. When we got to the room, it was spotless and clearly well-maintained. I also loved that they included access to beach chairs and other beach essentials it made everything so convenient and stress-free. The only thing was that the room didn’t have a full-length mirror, which would’ve been nice. Other than that, the location is perfect everything is within walking distance, which made our stay even better. Overall, a great experience, and I would definitely stay again!

The room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. What a wonderful hotel no amenities but safe police constantly going by every few minutes our room was street side so we heard traffic and loud cars all night .super close to the beach restraints and the drug store.

We had a flight cancelation and with many others were forced to stay a few extra days in San Juan. Many hotels were sold out and some were $450+ per night. We felt so fortunate to find a room at Ayana. Simple but updated furnishings. Clean. Excellent air conditioning. King size bed. Fridge well.stocked with various beverages for purchase. Property is located in a neighborhood that is popular, busy and walkable. So many great restaurants in the area! 3 blks easy walk to beach. The hotel provides beach towels and use of chairs. Sunscreen and even a cooler have been left by previous travelers to share. The outdoor shower was great, kept from tracking sand into our room. The best part of the property is staff. Upon arriving early we were able to leave our bags and explore the area. We were allowed a bit earlier check in once rooms were vacated and cleaned. There was a sitting area to sit and enjoy coffee, and a fun pond with fish to watch. The hotel has agreements with local restaurants for a discount on purchases. All in all we truly enjoyed the hospitality and would highly recommend this hotel.
