Condado is basically Miami Beach but with a vibrant Puerto Rican soul! Expect high-end hotels, world-class dining, and a stunning stretch of sand along Ashford Avenue—all just a 15-minute Uber from SJU Airport and 10 minutes from historic Old San Juan. We will definitely be back!

Seriously, give this hotel a chance. It took me a couple of days to truly appreciate why the Condado Vanderbilt is considered one of the premier luxury hotels in Puerto Rico. By the end of my week-long stay, I was genuinely sad to leave. This isn’t flashy luxury. It has an understated, old-money elegance, and the longer you stay, the more you appreciate the incredible attention to detail and service. The staff makes you feel like a VIP. When I couldn’t figure out the coffee maker at 5:00 a.m., someone came to my room and showed me how to use it. That’s the kind of service you receive here. The rooms are spotless, and every day housekeeping replenishes the complimentary snacks, soft drinks, bottled water, and other amenities. Spend the extra money for an ocean-view room because the spacious balcony and views are absolutely worth it. One suggestion: explain during check-in that the wristband also activates your floor in the elevator. That wasn’t obvious. This is the kind of hotel you don’t fully appreciate in one or two nights. Its atmosphere grows on you, and before long, you understand why so many people love it. I’ve stayed in hotels around the world, and this is one of my favorites. I can’t wait to come back.

I have zero complaints about our stay at Condado Vanderbilt. I traveled with 4 children and from the minute we arrived in the driveway to the minute we left for the airport everyone was so welcoming and helpful. Our rooms were impeccable and very comfortable. We used the pool the most and loved every minute. Special thank you to the staff at Ola for singing Happy Birthday to me during brunch!

Housekeeping was excellent. Staff at beach was very helpful. The wind off the Atlantic kept the beach comfortable and the waves a challenge. Food was great.

Amazing accommodation in the heart of Condado. Such an elegant hotel. My only disappointment is not having accessible, usable direct beach access. But a short walk close by and that was addressed.

The hotel was so nice and the staff were so friendly and helpful. There were small things that really just made us fall in love with the hotel. We had gone with my almost 2 year old daughter, and housekeeping somehow found out her name and addressed a message to her and left the note and a toy in the room for her. Wow. My wife had forgot her purse at a restaurant, they did everything they could to help track it down including getting in touch with the restaurant through socials. Would highly recommend. Concierge recommendations were also great, especially from Gian
