Our three-night stay at the Demod Hotel was brief in 2012. Because of the exorbitant hotel prices in it. Petersburg's historic district, this hotel offers excellent value for money. Most of the time, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to singles and couples who are unable to find much room or luxury. The location was excellent: 2 minutes by metro and 1520 on foot from the palace bridge, one that was close to the hermitage. The neighborhood is serene and secure, right beside a busy street lined with many restaurants and stores. Facilities The hotel is situated on one of the rooms of a residence structure, with a typical common stairs that appears dirty and attained see photo. You must carry your bags a few floors up because there isnt an elevator. However, once you open the door to the hotel itself, you will find a contemporary, spotless, and recently renovated hotel. You enter a narrow hallway with a 24 hour reception and doors to the guest rooms. Although the room is tiny, you have everything you need. The reception and employees were excellent, all spoke excellent English and were always willing to assist. Clean and upkeep The room was spotless, and upkeep was excellent. All the amenities in the room were completely new. Breakfast is standard, with eggs, coffee, and bread with cheesesalami of your choice, you may choose whether to have it in the foyer
