This hotel is not exciting but comfy, compact and idle location, staff very helpful and good in English, never had a problem here. In fact, it is very well run, clean and tidy rooms and as I was there in the winter, very warm. I would use this hotel again, without a doubt.

Its nice and clean place and not stuck in the lies like the rest of this street. This is a new hotel, and nice, and friendly service provided, plus the location is good as well. Be aware that the stairs on the fourth floor are only useful if this is important to you.

The first thing I must say is that credit where it's due to the location of friends is great. It's right in the center, with most of the main attractions eminently valuable and a pesky prospect just a few minutes walk away. But that was really where the positives ended. To be honest, I didn't actually know this was a two star hotel, not that this is a problem, we just picked it because it looked very nice. However, the front desk employee gave us a talk about what they didn't offer because this is a twostar hotel, which was an interesting approach, I suppose could be generously classed as expectation management. I didn't really have an issue with things that weren't on offer things like shower gel, which I had, or slippers, which I don't use, but I suppose it meant we entered with a more negative mindset and that the hostel's emphasis was on getting excuses in early rather than providing an experience proportionate to what we were spending. However, the rooms weren't very pleasant. We picked friends because the pictures online were really nice, but we had a standard room that looked nothing like the pictures we had seen. I assume the pictures were of the deluxe rooms, which is a marketing ploy, but we found this a bit swagger because the pictures weren't

The hotel is in the city center. They always provide good value for money. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff is very friendly.

I stayed at Friends Hostel for 5 nights in a standard double room in April. Its important to keep in mind that there are two friends venues in the same buildingfriends hostel and friends loft and that the tripadvisor page and photographs cover both! The hostel I stayed in is in a great city center location, close to all the main city center attractions, and very near to a variety of excellent bars and restaurants, including the friends place bar downstairs! Our room was small for two people but tastefully decorated and spotless. The room itself had a large bed table and a nice sized bathroom and was cleaned regularly. The hostel also had a kitchencommon area further down the hall which you could use. During our stay our room was unfortunately much too warm even without the heater on in April. Our room overlooked a very noisy market and was too loud to keep the windows open I would strongly recommend trying to book a room with air conditioning especially during the warm months! Thankfully, we encountered a difficult experience when checking. We had emailed the hostel in advance to inform them that we would arrive at about a m and were told they would try their best to make it happen but when there was no option, they only advised to go back to P a while. Although we understand that the room might not be available, we were also extremely disappointed to not know there was a common
