Don't spend your money on a high-cost hotel in the heart of the city with tourist-trap restaurants when you can stay in a nearby neighborhood. We spent six days touring Moscovice using this hotel as our base. We took a train ticket and utilized it for sightseeing, returning every night to eat with the locals. The train station is a short walk down the street, and trains appear to depart each two minutes. Back to the hotel. The building was reorganized into a hotel, and it has all the necessities. The rooms are clean and cozy, with a great bed, a hot shower with excellent water pressure, and toiletries. The staff is quite friendly. We had room 413, which overlooked the street. Bus and trams throng it up, but the heavy glazing keeps the noise out and isn't annoying. The WiFi was strong in the room but lacked the dining area. Breakfast here is expensive and has no winners. Hot food was cold, and the orange voice was reconstituted. After one breakfast, we went to the neighborhood deli cafe and had breakfast for a fraction of the price with the locals. Along the same block, there is a bakery and cafe. Don't do your laundry here. It is the most expensive we've ever seen. After escaping the Trans-Siberian, we transferred from Moscow station to the

I don't understand how russian measures keep degrading their level of service, saving money on every aspect of the hotel experience, what was once a great set of amenities now got reduced to the cheapest slippers ever, what was once a decent breakfast is now a very limited food selection or, in fact, lack thereof. I understand that everyone must survive these days, but even with all pandemicrelated restrictions in mind, this is not the mercury I am used to living in. The good news is that the pandemic has not changed anything about the great location of the hotel and the staff is still very nice, so if your okay with the lower mercury service bar, go ahead and book it but do not skip the breakfast offer as the gratia Karavaievi next door is much more value for money.

This hotel is a good choice for foreign tourists. Its in a strategic location, just a couple of stations from the red square. The rooms are very cozy, clean, and spacious enough. The tram stops in front of it. The underground station is 250 meters away. Close to grocery stores and fast food restaurants. Breakfast is delicious and full of flavor. The staff deserves all of our appreciation because they provide helpful advice on directions, and they are extremely kind and efficient. When we return to lovely Moscow, we will try to be visitors to this welcoming, welcoming hotel. It has been wonderful spending five nights here.

Overall, it's a good value hotel, and I recommend it to other travelers who value a central location and comfortable rooms. I chose this hotel for an extended stay of two weeks in April 2021. The hotel had the room ready when I arrived in the morning, and I also received an upgrade, which was a very significant additional value for the stay. The room itself was spotless, there were welcome drinks, and the staff refilled mineral water on a regular basis. The bed was cozy, and there was enough room for a small office. Two people couldn't have much trouble sitting with laptops and working simultaneously. The personnel were very courteous and welcoming.
