We stayed at the Demigod Hotel for three nights in 2012. Due to its high hotel prices in the city center. St. Petersburg is a great value. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and recommend it to singles and couples who don't need much space or luxury. Location was good 2 minutes by metro, 1520 minutes by foot from the palace bridge, the one near the hermitage. The area is quiet and safe and located just beside a pedestrian street with many restaurants and shops. Facilities the hotel is on one of the floors of a residential building with a typical common stairway that looks dirty and attained see photo. There is no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage a few floors up. However, once you open the door to the hotel itself, you will find a modern, clean, and newly renovated hotel. You enter a small hall with a 24-hour reception and doors to the guest rooms. The room itself is small but you have everything you need. The reception and staff were very nice, spoke good English and were always willing to help. Cleaning and maintenance the room was very clean and maintenance was good. All the rooms amenities were completely new. Food and beverage breakfast is basic, includes eggs, coffee and bread with cheesesalami to your choice see photo. You may choose if it is served in the lobby or in the room.
