Very strategic location. There is a bus stop on the main road to geylang, right and left and behind the hotel, the nearest one across is about 200 meters. Paya lebar is the nearest mrt. Opposite the mrt there is a mall, you can find halal food at the mall or 7 eleven opposite the hotel. Or it could be 15 minutes to bugis, get off the road stop a few meters and arrive at warung hj. Maimunah, the famous one. If from Changi, take bus no. 24 and get off at the paya lebar bus stop, more practical than the mrt. The actual condition of the hotel room is ok if you just want to sleep. Old hotel with a bit expensive prices. There are elevator facilities and a 24hour receptionist. Service is not bad.

This place was aaa reeaaalllyyyy good! Tempatnya sangat amat strategis! Nyebrang dikit ada seven eleven. Di sekitar hotel ada 3 halte bus dan 1 stasiun MRT! Wajib nginep sini lagi!

The hotel exceeded my expectations. Though the room was small it was cosy and perfect for my needs. The front desk staff were excellent. From I arrived earlier than planned they accommodated me and helped me find my way around Singapore without hesitation. The location of the hotel is excellent, close to the MRT which made traveling daily quite fun and efficient. I would recommend this hotel every day. Great choice 👍🙏👏

Ive now stayed at four chain view twice. I booked in geylang because i was arriving in singapore after midnight and wanted to be somewhere where i could still get a decent meal. I was able to check in at 1 am without any issues. Friendly check in staff. The rooms are old and basic but adequate. Smells a bit musty. When you walk through the hallways you can hear some noise from other rooms, but once you are in your own room it is silent as anything. Located 2 minutes walk from paya lebar mtr and 10 minutes walk from geylang serai market. Great food at arms reach. 7-11 across the road. Perfect for what i needed, just a place to shower and rest my head at night.

The facilities are quite ancient. There are restaurants in the area, and shopping is convenient. It is conveniently located near the subway, making it an ideal choice for transportation.

My home away from home for over twenty years while working in southeast Asia. Safe, reliable, and quiet. Security is good, and the small elevator works well and is well maintained. Oldstyle british feel with fine woodworking throughout. Beautiful foriere with some classic paintings. The rooms are small, the place is very old and the sheets are not the best in egyptian cotton. I even had a decent bicycle parked there for quite a while. I can remember my flight arrival at changi racing through immigration and then trying to find the lift or the stairs to try and catch the last train down to paya lebar station to the 4 chain view. But i always got there. And across the street at the hawker stall open as late as you are and the stainless steel trays full of great cheap food were always a treat and there was a nice chair and an ice cold tiger beer. The place has seen it all and of course things change. Peggy, the back manager, was always helpful to get me a room no matter what. Its sad to think that i may never do that routine again. Anyway, the location is great and so reliable. Cheers.

I guess its a sentimental favorite. I stayed there several times years ago and am happy to see it is in a slightly better condition than it was, with evidence of new carpet and paint. If you dont understand that this is a very, very cheap budget hotel in a fascinating, lowbudget neighborhood, you will be disappointed. Yes, the furniture is ancient. Yes, you may see some cracked tiles or a chipped mirror, and the rooms are small. But it is clean enough and surprisingly quiet, the guests are friendly, there is a refrigerator in each room, and the location is fantastically convenient. I love that the windows overlook a fairly green, inviting suburban lane and a girls school. And you cant beat the food in this neighborhood at all hours of the day and night.

Hotel ini terletak tidak jauh dari metro, hanya 10 menit berjalan kaki, relatif murah untuk Singapura. Kamarnya tidak terlalu nyaman, tua dan tidak rapi, perlu renovasi. Stafnya ramah, saat check-in mereka akan memberikan $10 untuk kunci elektronik.

The staff is friendly. The location is good, minutes from the mrt station and at least 4 different bus stops. The rooms are old and tired but clean and spacious. The attic rooms are fun and quirky but note no windows. The price is reasonable if you find a good rate online. Wifi strange. Very slow on both my mobile phones. Some websites are fast but others wont work at all. I cant work on my laptop at the desk because the seats are too low. But overall highly recommended! Its not new but i like this hotel and the staff and always have a comfortable stay. Just make sure you get a good price.

Budgetfriendly, ideal for temporary stays. Good basic amenities like a small fridge and water heater. However, it lacks a bidet.

The hotel is basic but affordable. What a 1star hotel for them is like a 3 star hotel for us. It was neat and the staff were very helpful. However, the rooms tend to be dusty because there is no proper ventilation. Windows are locked closed. My allergies keep coming back every time i enter the room.
