Location was really nice and the view of the reservoir was very calming. There are some restaurants nearby and it’s near most of the parks or well connected by bus to the other parks. Pity the hotel doesn’t offer promos to the various parks. Room and bathroom were spacious. Staff was really helpful too in giving directions and expediting our check-in. Breakfast buffet gets really crowded at peak times - we had to queue for awhile and then queued for a long time at the egg station. So go early.

We had a wonderful stay at this resort. Everything was well-organized, clean, and beautifully maintained. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making our experience even more enjoyable. We celebrated our wedding anniversary here, and the resort made it a truly special and unforgettable experience. We are grateful for the warm hospitality and would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

This is not our first family staycation at this hotel, as we do enjoy the general tranquility and delicious breakfast spread with the chocolate fountain. It helps that we plan our activities to avoid the crowded peak period for breakfast (9am to 10pm) and the pool (4pm onwards). For this stay, we got the family room with bunk beds, as our kid is finally old enough that he can climb up and down the ladder safely. He had fun. Just a small point on food -- the Sunday surprise ice cream at the poolside was thoughtful and fun, but it may be better to avoid clashing squarely with the peak crowd as the rooftop got rather congested. Also, we tried the dinner buffet for the first time and we admired the effort for menu planning, preparation and presentation. However, instead of self service for roast meats, it might work better to serve up roast meats directly from the kitchen so that the cuts (especially the wagyu) remain tender and moist.

Lovely hotel with warm hospitality in a peaceful setting. Very accommodating of little kids, yet it doesn't feel crowded and rowdy. Great breakfast spread, with a chocolate fountain that especially wows its young guests.

Mandai Resort is lovely. I highly recommend the reservoir view. Everything in the room is perfect—great amenities, high quality bed, spacious and very nicely decorated. The breakfast is very good and different items are offered daily. The snacks in the lobby are a nice touch. The pool is a good size with a beautiful view. The forest walk is also great. I stayed 3 nights and honestly wish I had added another night. I didn’t get the chance to try the Forage restaurant…next time!

We got an upgrade to the Rainforest Room. Managed to organise a birthday surprise for my partner - bed was so comfy and soft. Shower was great with amazing view towards the reservoir. Toilet was a bit of a letdown. Do yourself a favour and book in for a Spa treatment if you are staying there. Bliss!

Loved the river view from the room. The rooftop garden and pool were very nice too. Breakfast had a good spread, and they even served prosecco, which was a nice touch. The control panel is fixed near the entrance door, which is a bit inconvenient. I had to walk there every time to adjust the lights or AC. Overall, the hotel offers a unique experience and we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel doesn't feel crowded even though there are a lot of guests, and the location next to the zoo is perfect for family holidays and staycations. Staff are kind, warm and patient. This hotel is especially kid-friendly. Housekeeping even provides kid-sized toothbrushes and room slippers. The breakfast is also superb with great buffet spread. Drinks wise -- good coffee and alcohol for the adults, and delicious chocolate milk and a chocolate fountain that wows the kids. The only small blip for our stay is that the breakfast area gets extremely packed during 9-10am. But other than that, all was great and we will certainly stay here again!
