We ordered cabbage soup, typical of this area, and it was delicious served before and during christmas. Tried a few desserts and all were very good. Nice interior and good service.

Nice hotel with good service. Breakfast was a bit strange as there was no buffet to choose what you wanted. We had dinner and drinks at the restaurant very good! Parking free and in front of the hotel. Not so many people stayed there I guess.

I recommend this tiny beautiful hotel. The staff is very kind and professional. The sauna has 3 infra rooms, a steam room, and a dry sauna, with one swimming pool with relaxing nozzles and massage upon request.

In June, I stayed 4 nights with a group of people who have ancestry connections to Java and the surrounding region. My ancestors were from Vrbovce, a tiny village near Java, so I really enjoyed seeing the entire area. I want to thank barbara and adriana at the front desk for all their assistance. They are both hospitable, professional, and courteous. They both worked long hours, but they were always grins and ready to help with anything we required. They are exceptional employees! They made me feel special. When the hotel staff brought to the dining room to sing my happy birthday in slovak, I was shocked. It was the greatest birthday ever! I am extremely grateful to barbara and adriana for making my stay at the hotel Stefan one I will never forget. The food was excellent, but dining room service was a little slow. The rooms were gorgeous and spotless. Without a doubt, I would return.

We were forced to leave Bratislava and go straight for java after a few days of bad travel thanks to Aer Dingus, and what a welcome the hotel Stefan gave to our first trip to Slovakia! The hotel employees were extremely helpful, especially in assisting my husband in locating a family in the region. I loved the delicious asparagus selection, especially the pork. We found the wellness center to be the best option, but we liked the hot tub. The room was lovely, and the breakfast was excellent. I will definitely be back!.
