Magnifique terrain paysager, très propre et sécuritaire. L'hôte fut serviable et amicale. Un vrai petit coin de paradis. Le wifi fonctionne très bien. La chambre est propre mais j'aurais apprécié une cafetière et un séchoir à cheveux.

The property is very eclectic. Well decorated and a lot of seating outside on the patio. Breakfast was very good. Margaret was very friendly and always smiling. Bed was very comfortable. She was very accommodating, letting us stay there with our luggage since we had a late flight. Highly recommend it!

The staff are warm, friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast in the morning. Comfortable Room. Melville shopping centre nearby about a 15 minute walk and area felt safe to me. Using uber is a good way to go to areas further out. Very much enjoyed the days tours organised by the guesthouse with tour guide Ephraim. I recommend 84th on 4th Guesthouse as a very nice place to stay in Johannesburg.

The property is uniquely decorated, the family room is spectacular, but most of all, the staff was warm and attentive. When we arrived, l had caught my finger in the door of our car, and the receptionist who was going off duty, stayed with me until I felt better.

We had a wonderful stay at 84 on Fourth and would highly recommend it. The staff were friendly and efficient, the rooms were comfortable and well-decorated, and they even provided complimentary glasses of sherry during check-in! Melville, the local neighborhood, is safe and has many excellent restaurants and shops. Kudos to the staff for all the care and attention that they have put into this excellent guesthouse.

Amazing hotel with such a professional staff. The place is exceptionally clean, well decorated, and feels just like home. The breakfast is incredible and the hotel is located right next to a strip of restaurants and vibrant nightlife in the hip neighbourhood of Melville. I will definitely be back here. I enjoyed my stay thoroughly!

A lovely period home just a few metres from the restaurants of 7th St in cosmopolitan Melville. The staff are friendly and the room was comfortable. The highlight was breakfast, the omelette being highly recommended. I look forward to staying at 84 on Fourth again soon.
