Estávamos de passagem na cidade e escolhemos o hotel para passar a noite. Hotel maravilhoso, jantar espetacular. No dia seguinte pudemos ver um pouco mais do hotel e ficamos com vontade de estender uma diária para poder aproveitar mais o hotel. Ficará para a próxima. Indico com certeza.

Casa do Sol was quiet compared to our previous stays here but this didn't stop the staff doing everything they could to make our stay agreeable. Of particular note was the high standard of the food which we thoroughly enjoyed. Go now and enjoy as the hotel will soon be busy again. A great place to stay before you go into Kruger.

Hotel is quite unique and though fully designed, with very spacious and lovely garden area. Breakfast is awesome, staff are all very very friendly and helpful.Near to hazyview city center

Nice to return back to the hotel to see the nothing had been change. The same old good hotel. The only thing I would recommended to improve is the the food at the dinner.

Great reception. Friendly and porter service. Was exhausted and probably one of the most comfortable beds ever. Suggestion, WiFi in the room is a must for business. More TV channels would be great.

אחד המלונות הכי מדהימים שהיינו (בקבוצת מחיר זו).המלון מעוצב בסגנון מקסיקני-אפריקאי(!) יפהפה עם שטחים ירוקים מדהימים עם קופים שמסתובבים חופשי. קיבלנו חדר ענק עם פינת ישיבה וחלונות ענקיים הצופים לגן מרהיב ולבריכת שחיה וההפתעה הייתה שהמחיר כלל ארוחת ערב וארוחת בוקר (לא רשום בהזמנה) המסעדות היו באיכות של כוכבי מישלן עם כל הגינונים ואוכל מדהים. בקבלה ישב בחור בשם inocence שיצא מגדרו לעזור. המלון צמוד לחווית פילים וקרוב מאוד למרכז Nespruit שם מס׳ מסעדות נוספות.

The Good: Staff were friendly and always willing to help. Scenery was amazing, loved the whole spanish and foresty feel to it. No issues checking in. Food tasted great and presentation was quite good. The rooms were cleaned everyday. Its location is perfect, lots of activities close by...about 10-15min driving distance away (quad biking, sky trails, river rafting, elephant sanctuary). The Kruger park is a 20-30min drive. Shopping amenities are close by. The Bad: On the first night we had no water. Although it was being attended to it had only been fixed the next morning. It would have nice to have received a courtesy call or sms notification on updates and when it was fixed. There wasn't much of a variety of foods, it took a while to prepare and a bit overly priced. On one occasion the staff got our orders mixed up and eventually never received one of our orders. Except for those few minor issues our overall stay was great. Wouldn't mind going back.

The hotel was well signposted; however the approach road was not in good condition due to the recent rains. The hotel is about a kilometre from the tar road; our four wheel drive vehicle coped admirably, but I would think small family cars would have had a bit of trouble. The hotel itself was a revelation - larger than I expected, and all in a Spanish colonial style. The setting was superb; acres of "jungle" all around, and with an elephant sanctuary right on the doorstep. We were made very welcome, and the rooms were well equipped and comfortable. Dining at the hotel was not a la carte; if you are a vegetarian, you could be in trouble! Highlights of our short stay were: watching a troupe of monkeys playing on the lawn near our room, and interacting with the elephants next door. We were there too short a time to take full advantage of the facilities - would have liked to go hiking in the grounds, and get a bit of pool time. Altogether a beautiful spot, with friendly staff.

Really lovely place. The room was HUGE! It was bigger then some apartments I've lived in... I would have happily stayed there for a few days but we were only passing thru for a night on our way into Kruger.

Un petit coin d'Espagne au milieu de l'Afrique. L'hôtel se présente comme un village avec ruelles et placettes fleuries. Chambre spacieuse et moderne qui ressemble à une petite maison ! Repas excellent avec buffet chaud très varié. Notre meilleure adresse durant le séjour en Afrique du Sud. Dommage que l'hôtel soit excentré. Il faut suivre un chemin en terre peu engageant. Toutefois, le sanctuaire des éléphants se situe à côté.

Tosi mukava hotelli, aika hiljainen ja rentouttava, joten sopii hyvin esimerkiksi pariskunnille. Ravintolassa vähän hidas palvelu mutta siisteys, 24h respa ja turvallisuus oli suurta plussaa.
