Where to stay for 5 nights on the 'Garden Route'? Should we rove from one location to the next so we tick them off? We stayed 4 nights here before taking 1 night on the route back to Cape Town. The lovely thing about the Cinnamon Boutique is that you can easily and safely walk into Wilderness town for dinner/lunch without the need to drive, and also the hotel is within easy reach of wonderful locations - Knysna Head & Lagoon, Wilderness Beach (try the Views Hotel for a drink), the walk up the Touw valley, the Power Van train ride from George. And the hotel itself is excellent with great staff.

Exceptional service and high quality surroundings. Not a huge amount to do around Wilderness itself but you are a safe 5 minute walk to many restaurants. Girls on the Square (cocktails /chicken stack) and Mozambik (prawn beline/steaks). Super relaxing property.

Hotel is a comfortable and quiet oasis of calm with helpful and friendly staff. Perfectly located for centre of wilderness… easy & safe walk to restaurants and beach. N2 roadworks are a bit of a pain but passage under to the beach and at night you hear the ocean.. huge beach.. walks in the national park and trips on the river are quiet and calming

Ett fint hotell med stora, trevlig rum. Pool och en fin baksida till hotellet. Väldigt trevlig personal som gav oss en trevlig incheckning. Gratis parkering. Sköna sängar. Bra beläget!

We stayed at the Cinnamon Boutique for three nights, using the hotel as a base to explore the Garden Route. Although we used the hotel as a base, we could have easily have spent more time around the hotel pool. The hotel room was very clean, large and comfortable. We chose a room that had large patio windows which opened onto an upstairs balcony. The rooms had a “luxury” feel about them. Breakfast was great...everything you could ask for. We could not fault the hotel accommodation. Please note, there was nothing going on in the hotel, the hotel was a place to sleep and relax. The hotel was close to the small village and the long, wide beach at Wilderness (5-10 minute walk). There were half a dozen very decent bar/restaurants in the village. The food and service at The Girls restaurant was excellent...You will need to make a reservation We would stay at the Cinnamon Boutique again Steve Smith

A magnificent guest house together with superb staff makes an unbeatable combination. We stayed the first night in a Standard room, which was fine, but without a balcony. The breakfast buffet and cooked meal were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble.

From arriving at the Guest House, to checking in, to a flawless introduction and tour of the place with Anne. This jewel of the wilderness was amazing. Rooms were extremely comfortable, breakfast was fantastic and Anne went out of her way to make us feel welcome as well as giving advice on the local area and even going as far as organising some restaurant reservations. The whole time there was amazing and we actually thought about staying another night rather than return home

We only had a one night stay travelling back from Port Elizabeth to Capetown but wished we had stayed longer as the Guesthouse was amazing and there seemed to be lots to do in Wilderness.

We only stayed one night, arriving late afternoon in light rain. Very friendly reception and a good breakfast with excellent coffee the next morning before catching an early flight to return to Pretoria. The room was spacious and very clean and neat and is situated within walking distance to the village and all the popular restaurants.
