Die Hotelmanagerin war das Highlight in der Unterkunft! Sehr aufmerksam und stets gut gelaunt! Das Gästehaus ist ein Geheimtipp! Die Lage ist nicht ganz optimal, aber das Personal und das Gästehaus sind super !!

Sehr schönes Gästehaus in einem großen, parkähnlichen Grundstück. Einfach zu erreichen vom Broadway Boulevard. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Weinregion. Sehr nette Inhaber.

Our family have just returned from Cape Town and we were lucky enough to have chosen De Molen guest house as our accommodation. It’s difficult to know where to start!, De Molen is a stunning residence in a great location, our three bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable, all with balconies, stunning views and a real rustic charm. The hosts Christy, Joris and their team were very warm and welcoming and went out of there way to ensure we had a wonderful holiday. Christy was very helpful and informative and a super host. We cannot recommend this place highly enough, a real Gem!. We will be back!! 🇿🇦🇬🇧

A very friendly welcome, beautiful gardens, stunning views of the mountains and of the sea. As soon as we arrived, we felt completely at ease, calm and relaxed. The bed rooms were lovely and comfortable, each with their own style, and a balcony with stunning views. We loved coming to breakfast each morning, to discover the charmingly decorated table, which differed each day, and to sit on the veranda enjoying the garden. The breakfast was delicious, and varied each day, our favourites were the home baked muffins, the cheese pastries and the banana pancakes. It was nice to be asked if we had any requests, and they were happy to make them for us. The staff were friendly and attentive and gave us lots of great advice for things to do in the area. Thank you for a wonderful happy stay.

The cottage we stayed in was at the top of a very steep hill with no place for a vehicles to turn around, so you have to reverse down. Pro is that you get a nice view, but con is that you have schlep to get up there. they wanted me to park my car at the bottom of the hill which I ignored in the end. Quite rustic in the kitchen but the bed and bathroom was ok.

Det var ett jättegulligt boende med fantastisk utsikt över hela bukten. Det var self-service så inga mat- eller dryckesmöjligheter på plats. Det som drog ner betyget var dels att både kylskåp och AC lät fruktansvärt mycket, så sömnen påverkades. Dessutom var det väldigt lyhört mellan lägenheterna, så man hörde tom grannen snarka. Varenda rörelse i loftet hördes, även från granne.

The guest house is not central and is at the top of a long narrow and winding road. The house itself is very cold in winter, the room I was first placed in was very cold and the heating did not work. I was immediately moved to a much better room but this was up 3 flights of very narrow stairs. The TV in the room is extremely small and the WiFi was constantly on and off and so slow it was impossible to stream Netflix. I was charged R150.00 for 3 days of breakfast which consisted of 2 pieces of Weetbix per day for 2 days and then on the third day they never provided the breakfast even though I had paid for it in advance as I was leaving early so essentially I paid R75.00 a day for 2 pieces of Weetbix per day. I had advised that I would only take Weetbix in the morning and then they advised on the second day that they were charging this fee for it. No juice, coffee or yoghurt was provided with it. The third night there was no hot water for the shower and also the next morning when I tried to shower before I left, only ice cold water. On the booking it had shown a king size bed was provided, in both rooms it was only 2 single beds pushed together. I would definitely not consider returning.
