I was pleasantly surprised about the high level of fitments and furniture! Great shower and bathroom, wonderful bed and linen, all very clean and brand new in a well thought out layout with lots of space! For a change a full supply of tea and coffee in room including a filter pot and ground beans as well as fresh milk in fridge, with rusks in a sealed holder. I will certainly go back again.

Our hosts made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived at "Die Kleipot Guesthouse". Our room was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean with a very comfy bed. Both dinner and breakfast were a blast! Delicious freshly cooked meals with plenty of fresh herbs being used. We could chose from several options, vegetarian ones among them. The value we got for money was simply amazing!

The place is perfect. The room was nice and large and it was one of the best showers I've experienced in a guest house. Bedding was also top notch and the extra blankets helped a lot

Wifi doesn't work in the rooms, TV very small, pool not usable and restaurant closed. The reason I give it a decent rating is that the area is just a halfway point from Joburg to the coast, and it's completely reasonable for a one night stay to break up the drive. Nothing fancy, but everything you need, and close to the supermarket/bottle shop/restaurants.

PRO: Pre-heated room awaited us in cold winter night. Clean and functional, but not pretty. CON: TV remote had flat batteries, dstv decoder installed hidden with no direct remote control reach. Restaurant advertised does not exist anymore. No loadshedding backup. No milk for coffee.

We were surprised to find such a good place in a small and old town. Lindsay,the owner, received us in a very friendly fashion. She assisted us with directions to where we wanted to go. The room was spacious and clean The breakfast was good. We shall return

The owners were very friendly and efficient. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. No air conditioning, but there were two fans in the room. The only thing I didn’t like was the open bathroom, but it didn’t bother me too much as I was traveling by myself.
