This is a very good choice. We stayed at this fantastic hotel for the most wonderful stopover. The hotel has made a fantastic boma dinner, which is quite well done considering the travel regulations. The following morning, we rode a paddle boat up the lake to watch the sunrise, and because we had to depart early, a breakfast basket was prepared for us. It was an excellent experience, in every way!.

Overall, we had a great time in Diabolo and will definitely come back. My wife and I, our two daughters, and the future son in law decided to celebrate New Year's Eve at Diabolo Game Lodge. We reserved a deluxe suite and a family suite, both of which were large, comfy, and clean and provided shower-equipped bathrooms. We made excellent use of the ceiling fans and air conditioning in the rooms, which were very effective. The property is exceptionally tidy and well-kept, which is enhanced by the nalas' free roaming freely. The property also has a dam near the rooms, and we spent a considerable amount of time just resting by the dam and admiring the two resident hippos. During our visit, we went on two pleasant game drives and saw zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, and various antelope, including some exotic species. We also had a lot of fun playing table tennis, foosball, and pool. We were well taken care of throughout our stay because the staff was pleasant and efficient. The traditional african boma dinner we had on new years eve, and the complimentary bottle of sparkling wine we received, were both excellent.

There are excellent facilities, and the grounds and designs of the individual huts are excellent. Additionally, the gravel road that enters the area needs to be maintained. It can only be imagined how many vehicles have suffered from severe damage due to their use of that road either tarred or smoothed out. It is best to allow customers to pay for meals, activities, and other things whenever they want. This also provides for greater transparency than the expensive accounting process at the final check-out time. At least three other visitors were unhappy with this. The facilities are excellent, and the upkeep is astounding.

I really appreciate all the employees from Diabolo who made my birthday weekend memorable. They are all very welcoming and eager to help. The setting is calm, serene, and in touch with nature. It was wonderful to eat lunch while watching hippos at the dam. Unfortunately, we did not have a boma, but they had a plan I that was fantastic. A special thank you to Robert, who was the best! If you stay here, you will not be let down.

I sincerely recommend this establishment to all travelers. Excellent customer service level. Excellent bed with soft sheets, delicious food and plates as if it were painted. I also suggest it as a recommendation and a book with breakfast and dinner. You will really enjoy it. I would without a doubt return. The environment is animal friendly. They have bush babies, antidotes and even walked around the property. Peaceful and restful location, only 60 km from Bela 4550 minute drive. Ideal stopover for two days of relaxation, which we did. We loved it! Thank you to the entire team!.
