I like that they got in touch prior to arrival to ensure they were ready when I got there. They had upgraded me since there was a larger room available which I thought was very kind. They even loaned me a jacket when they saw I wasn’t quite prepared for the weather that greeted me. Overall, they really wanted to make sure it was a nice visit. It was maybe 4 blocks to the main road where the wine tram leaves from and there are loads of restaurants and a woolworths (where I got breakfast goodies and snacks. There were also some nice touristy shops if you want to get anything to bring home. An easy walk to get to all these things.

It is perfect place to have as a start when you are outside for a trip in the whineyards. Just a few minutes walk down to the start for the buses. Nice and lovely stay at 8 on T our room was perfect with a nice little place to use outside. We really recommend a stay with this lovely owners.

The view of the mountains that surround the area is also beautiful. This place has excellent safety, has enough street lighting, and is only a 5-minute walk from the main street and tub microbrewery. We stayed here with 5 other family members, and it was ideal since we had the entire property to ourselves. Three rooms are all connected by a common garden with a plunge pool. The rooms are spacious and have double beds, but single beds are available, with a spacious bathroom and shower, coffee-making options, and seating.

The best place to stay if you want to sleep soundly. Great location, only a 10-minute walk from the main road. The area is extremely safe. A large, clean, and modern room. Beautiful touches include biscuits, beach towels, magazines, and hot water bottles. The room was quite loud, which is why I gave it a 4 star rating rather than a 5. The walls between the three bedrooms are very thin, so you can hear everything. Especially toilet flushing. The toilet in room 2 was on our bed head. I believe room 3 would be the quietest.

We stayed in the absolutely stunning town of Franschhoek for two nights at eight on turn. The host took good care of our arrival and popped in to introduce herself. The apartment was fantastic, with a sizable outdoor outdoor undercover space that was ideal for evening lounging. We recommend the end apartment as it had a considerably larger outdoor space and was close to a gated parking lot for this reason. The apartment was spotless and tidy, with charming details including a folder with local information and a trolley with tea, coffee, and a kettle. We purchased breakfast supplies and had them at home the second morning because there was also a refrigerator and a basic set of cutlery. The restroom was contemporary, and the beds were extremely comfy. The town is only a 500 m walk away, which our host assured us was safe even in the darkness. To everyone, I wouldn't think twice about suggesting this lodging. Our only complaints are that there is a large oldersize wardrobe in the room that wed suggest replacing with something smaller to create a little more space. Lovely location in a lovely must-visit town.

Eight on the turn is both off the beat and the busy main road in Franschhoek. Very quiet with lovely rooms, but there is no food in the morning so I have to go out to breakfast in the morning. There is coffee and tea in the rooms and a small fridge for anything. All the restaurants are within walking distance so I can enjoy a glass of wine with meals without having to worry about driving back. Very nice and clean with a small outdoor pool to cool off in summer.

Franschhoek is lovely! And this tiny gem is a nice place to stay in such a peaceful town. We stayed here for two nights, and both mornings I sat outside drinking breakfast and looking up at the stunning mountains that border the valley. It is a short walk into town and about 15 minutes to the winetram ticket office. After a long day at the wineries, the room was spacious and private, making it a wonderful place to unwind. We had a great time here! The location is perfect, and the facilities were all great.

Nice room. Good light, ventilation and privacy. Very comfortable bed and linens. Spacious bathroom with large shower and sink counter. Helpful owners on site. Our unit, #3, had a large covered front patio with comfortable sofa and table. An easy 600m walk to the center (Huguenot street). Minor faults: the bathroom fan comes on with the light and is quite loud. The small counter for making tea/coffee is too small. Not Eight on Tuin's fault: While traffic on the side streets into the center is very light, you have to walk in the street. Strange that such a beautiful town has no sidewalks. Bonus: they provide a french press, ground coffee from Terbodore roasters, and even stock a bit of milk in the fridge!
