Thank you to the lodge team for going above and beyond to delight us as we recently returned from a wonderful vacation at founders lodge, which included sleeping in a totally unique adventure on the founders railway carriage. This is truly an amazing way for a family to spend time together in a wonderful setting. Our children fell in love with the African Hogwarts Express and thoroughly liked the Bear Grills Academy. We were able to customize each day thanks to a dedicated chef and game ranger. All of the staff was excellent under the expert supervision of Craig and Glenn's, and the food was excellent. We celebrated a combined wedding anniversary and birthday and will cherish very special moments.

We recently stayed at the founder's lodge for 3 nights. Everything about it was amazing. Craig and Glenn were wonderful hosts who made our entire trip special. The lodge was lovely, the service was courteous but not intrusive, the game drives were outstanding, and all meals were delicious. With the exception of the weather, the entire visit was excellent. Special mentions to Nancy, our ranger during each drive, and to Manila for her excellent service throughout our stay.

If you have the chance to go there, I cannot emphasize how delightful it is. First and foremost, where should I begin? I was able to drive the little van polo we had rented on the dirt road there and have the impression of being an off-road rally driver. We were given a few warm towels and some refreshing juice by Sean, Nick, and Nathan. Before being settled in for a delicious lunch, we were shown around and then shown to our room. We were truly fortunate in our timings because we were able to witness a game catch that is really something special it also meant that a couple of the rhino ran up to hide under a nearby tree in order to escape the helicopter. A few local curious pumas also occupied the grounds. We went on an afternoon game drive and a few sunset drinks. It was great to know that there are some wild carnivores trotting around the game farm, so sucking on a cold black label, eating belong, dried fruit, and spicy corn with the eastern cape sunset in the background is the most memorable feeling. The first morning coffee and game drive were followed by a really early morning coffee. Nathan did bring a glass or two with us, which was ideal for a person looking for a cool, chilly early morning coffee. I would also heartily suggest the pina colada and the
