This boutique hotel is special. Proximity to Rosebank premier amenities while being tucked away in a block close to the highway. The friendliness and helpfulness of staff was top tier. Room service, food and other add ins were not only affordable, but fresh, well presented and wide ranging. Really a perfect alternative to a stay at a cookie cutter hotel model. Please change very little about this place!!

We had the most incredible stay at The Winston. All I can say is GO!! My best friends & I stopped in for one night & wished we’d had a week. Super friendly staff, beautiful rooms, a gorgeous pool, and brilliant food in the restaurant for breakfast & dinner. We can’t wait to come back!

Everything was perfect. Highly suggested hotel!! The bedroom was very spacious and and the hotel facilities were perfect. The only suggestion is to upgrade the bathroom as they are a slightly dated. On a separate note I also suggest to add another set of towels, I was just by myself however if there was another person we would not have enough towels. I will definitely come back to this hotel!!! Love it

All Joburg is unsafe so the Winston can’t be blamed for that. My only real gripe was lack of response when I tried to arrange an airport pickup; I emailed as well as texted the Winston reception to request this but didn’t receive a reply.

We flew into Johannesburg and came here. The host was friendly but it other staff that really spent the time to make our stay a memorable one. He stored our luggage until our room was ready and after breakfast on day one he surprised us by bringing us our morning beverages without even being asked. It was a lovely room with a clean bathroom and comfortable bed.

The hotel is located in a quiet street, yet close to the mall and train station. Exquisite interior design throughout, quiet pool/garden/outdoor seating area. Rooms have all amenities that you can wish for. WiFi is available everywhere, but must switch between various locations. Great breakfast selection. We decided to have dinner when we arrived after reading many good reviews and were not disappointed, restaurant is definitely worth eating there. Super friendly staff.

The overall ambiente of the property was excellent. The rooms were spacious, functional, clean and quiet. The on site restaurant was very good for dinner and breakfast. The concierge staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Mr Jason and team. Good location close to the train lines to the airport and Cape Town trains.

The facility was beautiful. The beds were comfy and they had great shower/bath facilities. Breakfast was excellent with the freshly squeezed orange juice. Now that is quite an experience when you are overlooking the Winston's Hotel courtyard. Most importantly, the hospitality was phenomenal.

Beautiful hotel. We spent our last two nights before returning to the United States after visiting Cape Town, Hermanus, Kruger Park and Sabi Sands. It was the perfect ending to the trip. The rooms were great and the staff terrific. Jason at the front desk was very helpful. Paul and Mike were our waiters in the restaurant. They could not have been more attentive or friendly. One block away is a large mall with an African flea market every Sunday.
