Attached directly to the mall made for an easy and convenient stay. Nice lounge and kitchen gave a nice homey feel and space you dont get in a hotel room.

A not great place. A non-5 star place. The facilities are subpar. The premise is old, loud, the personnel are unfriendly, it turns out that they are not forthcoming or presentable. It is old and tired. 11 months old coffee in the refrigerator is still not used. No Smart TV or netflix. The mattress is also uncomfortable, not just a king or queen bed. Aircorn is sufficient, the security system is not functional, and the decor is not appealing. Clean sheets, fresh towels, and safe operation.

Overall, we had a great experience while staying here. We only spent the night there, but we had a great time. This place is situated on top of a gigantic luxury shopping mall. We absolutely loved the room, which was comfortable and good, and the bed. Also, a fantastic suite if you come here for extended work because it has a fully functional kitchen.

The apartment overlooks Nelson Mandala square, and the surrounding air conditioning is a little noisy. The location is close to the mall and restaurant. The room's decor and appliances could use some updating. I'm having breakfast at the Maximilian Restaurant.

I liked the friendly and helpful staff, nice furnishings in the apartments and adequately stocked with all the necessities for such accommodation! The bed was comfortable with very nice bed linen! Like the proximity to Sandton City and Mandela Sq! All in all I thought the Raphael was very good value for money! I did not like the view from my room.. faced the wall (but at least it wasn’t concrete and plain, but would have preferred a city view!

Zimmer ohne Aussicht mit kleinem Balkon. Unmöglich, dort zu sitzen wegen Lärm von Gebäude-Maschinen wie Klimaanlage. Nicht einmal ein Fenster oder Türe konnte man offen lassen wegen dem Lärm. Man fühlt sich wie in einem komfortablen Gefängnis. Wifi hat zuerst nicht funktioniert. Es dauerte zu lang, um das Problem zu lösen. Würde nicht empfehlen, dort zu buchen obwohl die Lage grossartig ist.

This hotel could be a pearl in Sandton, however, the photos of the property hide investment in maintenance. One of only a few hotels we’ve stayed in which has so few sockets for charging a laptop or indeed a phone. We found blood on the tiles in one of the two bathrooms in the 2 bedroom suite. The pigeons enjoyed our jacuzzi on the enormous balcony. We certainly weren’t going to get into that tub. A disappointing stay which didn’t meet our expectations.
