Loved our one night stay at Residence Vive last Vie. Just wish we could have stayed longer. Our suite was large, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The breakfast was superb, all freshly prepared and cooked to order. The gardens were immaculate, with a lovely pool and plenty of loungers. Finally, the staff were all very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended!

A stunning place to stay. Great location, very quiet but near the centre of town as well. The breakfast was great and the garden and pool were a really bonus.

Dejlige faciliteter - dejlig stort værelse på et lille hyggeligt boutique hotel godt beliggende i Franschoek by. Stille og rolige omgivelser. God atmosfære på stedet. Meget venligt og hjælpsomt personale og guesthouse manager. Desuden en dejlig lækker morgenmad.

We had a really lovely stay at Vive. The room was really big and the bed so comfortable. Breakfast each morning was excellent and the staff were so attentive and efficient. Nice little seating area by the pool. Great location for restaurants, coffee shops and the main wine tram station.

Fabulous property set behind secure gates with onsite parking. Close to The Wine Tram and walking distance to Franschhoek. Lovely contemporary spacious bedroom with modern sculptures and beautiful pictures. Lovely comfortable bed with fluffy towels and nice toiletries. Breakfasts each morning were delicious which set us up for the rest of the day. Good, healthy choices of hot and cold selections. All made to order. Very friendly staff and very helpful host. Very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Highly Recommended.

Das Viva la Vie ist ein sehr schönes, kleines Hotel, das perfekt gelegen ist, wenn man die Wine-Tram nutzen möchte. In nur 10 Minuten ist man zu Fuß an der Haltestelle. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet und groß. An manchen Stellen ist die Eineichtung ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Einiges könnte ausgebessert werden. Es ist allerdings alles absolut vertretbar. Das Frühstück ist fantastisch und das ganze Team ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Pool hätte ein kleines bisschen sauberer sein können, aber da wir eh nur einen Tag da waren, haben wir ihn ohnehin nicht viel genutzt. Wir können diese Unterkunft daher absolut weiterempfehlen.

Belle découverte de ce guest house de Franschhoek. La chambre est grande, propre et très confortable. Excellent petit déjeuner fait maison. La jardin dispose d’une petite piscine pour en profiter l’été.

All the rooms are different but all are good-sized. Our room has double bathroom sinks, a large shower, a chaise lounge in addition to two armchairs. Very comfy. The breakfasts are excellent! Their so-called mini-continental is big enough to fill up most people: fresh baked muffin, croissant, fresh fruit, cheeses& meats, yogurt, juice, coffee. But you can also add eggs Benedict, omelette, shashuska, French toast— all included! We were in the winter but I can see how nice it’d be to enjoy their pool and gardens in the summer. Highly recommend.
