I can’t recommend Rhino Coast Guest House highly enough. On arrival we were very warmly met by the owner Don who was incredibly informative, helpful and enjoyable to talk with. Don was also super helpful with some car rental issues we had. The accommodation is very comfortable, the rooms are really tastefully decorated and a very comfortable bed. The location is brilliant, close to all restaurants in the Main Street and also to the beach. The breakfast was so generous and one of the best we had on our holiday!

Very nice guesthouse and hosts. Guesthouse was newly built, is in an extraordinary good condition and was opened not a long time ago. We had a spacious family room with a very big bed. Breakfast was excellent quality. Freshly baked muffins from Melissa, eggs on request, an assortment of (real) cheeses and slices of sausages. When we arrived we had a very warm welcome. We had a welcome drink and Melissa's dad drunk a cool beer with me. Also organized a stunning whale watching tour for us.

We loved Rhino coast guest house. The staff are amongst the friendliest you will meet. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms are not large but the bathroom was very spacious and the beds are really comfortable. Everything was clean. Breakfasts are enormous and includes a cooked breakfast as well as cereals and juice, fruits and yoghurt and lots of bread. The position of the guest house is good and it's possible to see Hippos in the street at night feeding on the grass verge. We came across an enormous hippo at the end of our street and it was really amazing watching him munching the grass. It's best to use your car at night though because the Hippos can be dangerous. If you love watching the wildlife St Lucia is a great little place to visit and Rhino Coast Lodge a great little place to stay.

Das uns zugewiesene Zimmer Nr 5 war schmutzig, hatte keinen funktionierenden Safe, roch, hatte unhygienische nicht gut riechende Bettwäsche, schmutziges Bad, die Eingangstür ließ sich nicht abschließen und die Aircondition funktionierte nicht. Unsere Reklamation wurde erhört und wir erhielten ein Zimmer im gegenüberliegenden Haus Forest Lodge. Das Zimmer war viel besser. Das Frühstück stand ungekühlt und nicht abgedeckt von 6.30 bis 9.30 in der Wärme. Am 1. Tag war das Obst schwarz von fliegen. Das Personal war bemüht und freundlich, besonders Zanele und Ntombie. Internet war für Android eine Katastrophe und sehr schwankend. Es gab einen Generator für Stromausfall! Wir können dieses Haus nicht empfehlen

Wie dieses „Haus“ zu so einer positiven Bewertung kommt, ist mir ein Rätsel. Das positivste an dem Rhino Coast Guest house waren die Damen Zanele und Ntombi, die es möglich gemacht hatten uns ein gutes Zimmer gegenüber in der „Forest Lodge“ zu besorgen. Dafür möchten wir uns noch einmal sehr bedanken. Unser Freund der im „Rhino Coast Guest house“ wohnte durfte am Ende noch einmal die professionelle Einstellung zu den Gästen genießen. Er hatte 2 teure T-shirts im Zimmer vergessen. Der „freundlichen“ Dame am Telefon war es nicht möglich uns die Shirts nach zu schicken.... „Das ist nicht unsere Firmen Politik“..... gute Einstellung. Nie wieder hier......
