The owner was very friendly and helpful. We arrived at daol early in the morning but still had no problem when we contacted the owner to leave our luggage. The hotel location is very convenient a 2 to 3minute walk from hongik station. There are many good cafes and restaurants nearby. Stayed in basement room. It wasnt that quiet because some guests enjoyed the garden of the hotel which was right next to our room window and there were also many people passing by during the day. However, the room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was also clean - liquid soap, shampoo, small towels and utensils and hair dryer provided. Breakfast was simple fried eggs with butter and jam, cornflakes with milk, toast with bacon and butter, frank egg and sausage, juice and coffee. Only suggestion is that more cleaning services should be provided more. Our room only cleaned once during our 6 night stay. Anyway, im still happy with daal. This was our first time staying here, but it wont be our last! I recommend this guesthouse to single, couple, and family travelers.

The location is excellent, it is close to the forest walk in front of the hongdae station, and it has a good neighborhood because its not on the loud side of downtown hyd. However, the owners may not always be present at the house, making it challenging to get assistance from them if you dont have syncing or contacting id number. On the day we checked out, we left our luggage at home and informed them that we would return at 1 pm. When we went to retrieve our bags, however, nobody was home. Just something to keep in mind for future visitors.

The host and her family are friendly and kind. The room is small but comfortable. Its the cleanest place ive ever stayed in korea. Very convenient as its only a short walk from hongik university station exit 3 (has an escalator) and close to many shops and good restaurants.

The daol guesthouse is located on a small backstreet, but its relatively easy to find. The room was small, however it was adequate for one night. Checkin was entirely by phone. There was no interaction either at checkin or checkout. A qr code on the door leads you to e securing your details, you receive resembling tendigit pin number to enter the reception area, and after 3 p. M., another person is assigned to access your room. Although tiny, the room had all the essentials for teetering for the evening. While the bathroom was tiny in size, there was plenty of hot water and pristine showers! I chose dail because it included breakfast. However, no breakfast was found, nor was there any staff to assist. Hollys coffee is conveniently located nearby! The noise from other visitors let it down. Even the smallest sound travels like thunder because the stairs are made of wood and the hallways are tiled, so the staircases themselves are constructed with wooden stairs! It worked perfectly for an overnight stopover!.

We stayed for 3 nights, 1 in a double room and 2 in the family room. The room was clean and spacious. Our host was very friendly and helpful when we needed it. Also ordered fried chicken for us. Close to the hongik uni metro or airport line.
