Our stay at Hanokinn was absolutely wonderful. The inn itself is charming and the owners are lovely people who made us feel incredibly welcome. The breakfast was delicious! The inn is perfectly located and within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, and attractions. 10/10 would recommend.

The innkeepers could not have been more kind and caring about our trip. From offering sightseeing advice, to telling us the best places to get Korean BBQ and good local coffee (avoiding the tourist spots), to just telling us about their lives and asking about ours, it was truly a wonderful and memorable stay. It was also an authentic, traditional Hanok experience (the architect husband built the inn by hand!) centrally located to everything you’ll want to see. Oh, and did I mention the wife made the best Korean breakfasts every morning? Highly recommend.

My son and I enjoyed a three-night stay at the beautiful Hanok Inn. The owners are caring, attentive and made sure we had everything needed. They gave us useful guidance about places to see in and around Gyeongju. The owner helped us find good places for dinner and suggested local foods to try. Our room was clean and comfortable and exactly as described on Expedia. Hanok Inn is a small quiet paradise, with a beautiful, peaceful garden at its center and rooms surrounding. From the second story balcony you have a nice view of the hanok village and beautiful rooflines in the area. Hanok Inn is centrally located, with an easy walk to dozens of historic sites, and only a few steps away shopping streets offering numerous food choices. The breakfast at Hanok Inn was superb! We had to leave early on our last morning to catch a train, and the owners were very accommodating. Hanok Inn added to our wonderful experience at Gyeonju and we are grateful for our stay here.

We've stayed at this property twice now, and it was a beautiful experience both times. I don't think I can ever stay anywhere else if I return to Gyeongju! The hanok is beautifully built in traditional fashion, which is not common as most hanok hotels are modern buildings decorated to look traditional, and extremely clean and comfortable. We slept so well there, and woke up to soft sunlight gently filtering through the paper screens. The owners are the loveliest people you can imagine, speak excellent English and are so kind and helpful that you truly feel welcome. I travel a lot and stay at many hotels, and this is one of my favourite places in the world!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The room was incredibly cozy, creating the perfect space to relax after a day of exploring. What truly made the experience special, though, were the hosts. They were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The breakfast prepared by them was also wonderful. Beyond the accommodation itself, the entire stay felt like a beautiful cultural experience. Being in such a historic city added so much depth and charm to our visit, making every moment feel meaningful and memorable. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm, authentic, and comfortable stay.

Honestly look no further. The location was ideal, the accommodation was comfy and picturesque and an all round incredible experience. However the owners truly made this a special stay. They are kind, welcoming and warm hearted honestly some of the loveliest people we have ever met!

Mr and Mrs Kim who run the Hanok Inn are wonderful people. We forgot something in our room when we left and Mrs. Kim arranged to have it brought to me in Busan. She is so lovely and the room was beautiful, the breakfast delicious. Five star stay. Highly recommended.

Best place ever, it was very spacious and central to the area. Beautiful little inn. Mrs. Kim was wonderful, she cooked us the most amazing breakfast, best food I've had in Korea. Wish we stayed longer, we will be back! Thank you Mrs. Kim!!

私たちはHANOKINNに3泊させてもらい、慶州の観光を存分に味わうことができました。同時に韓屋でのオーナーの作ってくださる韓国の朝食、観光のアドバイス等のおもてなしは最高でした。なかでも、Ms.Kimが日本のお気に入りポップソングを歌ってくれたり、Mr.Kimの韓国の伝統楽器のミニワークショップでは合奏させてもらい、音楽を通じてとても有意義な時間を過ごすことができました。慶州にホストファミリーができたようでとても幸せです。
