The location is amazing, you can access a lot of train and bus stations by walking, and it is also from a walkable distance (if you love to walk) to some main atractions. The room is small but has everything you need. The toilet was a little dirty when we got there but it wasn't a big deal. Staff is very nice and very helpful, especially the cleaning ladies, they will sure make your stay much nicer. Overall a great place to stay, affordable, great location and friendly staff.

Awalnya cari lokasi sulit karena di dalam gang. Memang saya yang tidak bisa baca peta dengan benar. Namun pada dasarnya posisinya strategis, dekat minimarket dan toko toko serta ada tenda khas Korea yang jual snack malam. Stasiun kereta terdekat di Jongno 3ga exit 14 atau 15, untuk bus ke airport langsung juga ada titiknya, sayangnya saya baru menemukan setelah pesan tiket AREX ke bandara Incheon. Harus punya tenaga ekstra ketika naik turunkan koper, karena tidak ada lift. Terima kasih

とても安く泊めていただき、しかも、テレビ、冷蔵庫、シャワー、トイレという宿泊するには十分な条件が揃っていて、満足しました。日本語も通じますし、繁華街からも近いです。また、泊まりに行くつもりです。お世話になりました。

This place is a great choice for someone who just wants to sleep in the city center for a reasonable price and doesnt have any other requirements. The room is small and the walls are very thin, so keep your fingers crossed that the neighbors are there just for sleeping, as you can hear every snoring through the wall. The staff is very friendly and helpful!.

オーナーの方に日本語で対応していただき助かりました。説明も丁寧ですごく話しやすい方でした。明洞や東大門も歩ける距離で、飲食店もコンビニも周りにたくさんあって本当に便利でした。建物自体の古さはあると思いますが、綺麗に掃除されていて清潔でした。冷房の効きも良いです。シャワーとトイレは一緒になっていて狭いです。でもシャワーの水圧は良いです。水が自由に飲めるのも良かったです。清掃は入りませんが、タオルなどの備品は必要な分を自分で取るシステムで、それくらいの距離感が自分には良かったです。また利用したいです。

This was my first stay in Seoul and I loved it. The manager was kind and generally around during check-in hours if needed. Each floor has trash and recycling areas, used towel bin, and a clean towel cupboard. A shared kitchen is on the 4th floor with just about everything you need for simple food prep including a microwave, cook top, microwave, and water dispenser to refill water bottles. Rooms have room and bathroom slippers, a small desk, closet with a mini-fridge inside, and compact wet bathroom. If you haven’t travel to S Korea or many Asian countries before, the bathroom and towels might be an adjustment. Do some research on how to manage. It’s a little more effort than western bathrooms but practical and truly not a big deal. As others noted, the walls are paper thin between rooms, and during check in guests are asked to keep it down, but you’re at the mercy of the other guests courtesy level. I travel with earplugs and noise cancelling headphones, so it was fine for me. The location was great for restaurants, wandering the area, and for accessing buses and the subway. I could get just about everywhere I wanted to go on one bus without transferring (I prefer buses so I can see more of the city, but the subways are fantastic too). I would absolutely stay here again.

Overall, if youre looking for a nofrills, centrally located stay in shinjuk or dont mind smaller spaces, hostel chloe is a good option. I recently stayed at hostel chloe in seoul. Its central location is ideal for travelers looking to be in the city center. While the hostel is on the smaller side, it offers a decent stay considering its size. The rooms are a bit small, but they are clean and wellmaintained. Cleaning standards were up to par, ensuring a comfortable environment. The staff were friendly and provided some helpful local advice.
