Room was very clean and a good size. Even though it was a contactless check in/check out, it was very easy to get in-person help with questions and stored luggage in their office just around the corner from the check in.

The hotel location is very convenient. Next to Starbucks, CU. Go down to basement and must try the local restaurants. 10 minutes walk to Seoul station. The young gentleman staff at 701 was very nice and friendly. We stored our luggage with him before check in time. He sent us a message thru WhatsApp to let us know that our room is ready and he moved all 3 luggage 3 backpacks to the room for us. We are so thankful of his kindness. The room is big enough for our 2 medium luggage and 1 carryon to open wide and we still have room to walk around comfortable. We really appreciated for the daily room refresh, refill water bottles and towels. Definitely coming back to Hotel Modak next time in Seoul.

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Modak Namdaemun. The room was spacious (over 30 sqm), very clean, and serviced daily with fresh towels and bottled water provided each day. I also appreciated the kitchenette, fridge/freezer, and the convenient washer-dryer combo unit, which made the stay much more comfortable. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They kindly stored my luggage after checkout while I waited for a late flight, which I really appreciated. The location was also excellent - very central and convenient for getting around. Overall, a comfortable and well-managed hotel that I would happily stay at again.

The property was PERFECT for our family. The check in/check out process and instructions are by far the easiest and very convenient I have ever encountered and we travel quite often. The room is very spacious, clean and bed was so comfortable, kind of hard to get to out of bed and explore :-). It is a perfect spot, near everything. I highly recommend this property, quiet, clean , near stations/bus/markets/next to plenty coffee shops and very good korean chicken next door and kbbq a few steps away. Really enjoyed our stay here. My family stayed here for 2 weeks and it was the perfect location! The room was great for our family of 4 with 2 young kids. The room was very clean and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back!

The room was very clean, the washroom was very clean and big, staff was very friendly, kitchen was fully equipped (pot, pan, plates, and utensils) and there was a door to close off so the smell doesn’t spread throughout the room. Lounging and dining area was spacious. Loved the washer and dryer in one. My family and I were so impressed with this place, we will definitely be staying here again when we come back. We video called our friend and other relatives to show them where we were stay and recommended it as well. One large bedroom with enough beds for everyone. Only down fall was only one mirror so our family of 5 had to wait until the other person was out of the washroom to use the mirror.

Everything was great - good space and very clean. The only thing not super convenient was the power outlet, it has two holes and sinks about 5mm inside the wall. We have to use a mug to support our adaptor to stay connected. All else are perfect.

Just wanted to say we really enjoyed our stay here. It’s in the same building as Ramada Hotel and feels a little run down on first glance but check in process was very easy and seamless and the room was very clean. We didn’t know how to change the shower water to make it come out of the shower head and not the faucet (it is totally not intuitive!) but we were very easily able to reach a staff member even extremely late at night. Our washer also didn’t work but staff was extremely accommodating and helped us with our laundry. I will say staff friendliness really made our stay worth it. Also the coffee bean in the lobby had 50% off all drinks during the entirety of our stay which was awesome! Also the location was extremely convenient. The airport bus drops you off literally in front of the hotel. There are also two convenience stores next to and across the hotel. Subway station was also about a 5 min walk. Overall very convenient.
