Wow ... we had an amazing 2-night experience at Soi Hanok. Our room was clean and beautifully decorated with all the modern amenities that you need (microwave, fridge, TV, wireless speakers, shower, heated bidet toilet, heated flooring and air conditioning). The bed was super comfortable. The courtyard was beautiful, peaceful and quiet - we actually rented hanboks and did a photoshoot in the courtyard. The host, Sue, was fantastic in greeting us and giving us recommendations. She was so kind in offering us complimentary Korean breakfast. Remember, some of the windows and doors are made of paper layers so sounds will easily travel but all the neighbors in the other units were very respectful by staying very quiet throughout our stay. Loved our stay.

It was an amazing experience and the owner letters in earlier cuz we arrived an hour before we expected. It's in the heart of tourist attraction and right around all the tombs and palaces. Perfect location and thank you for a great experience!

Wonderful location, easy to walk to most historic sites as well as numerous nearby restaurants, food stands and shops. Our host, Soo, was delightful. All in all, one of our favorite stays in Korea.

Exceptional hospitality in an authentic setting. Soi Hanok Stay beautifully combines Korean tradition with modern comfort. The stay was perfect and the charismatic host provided fantastic service; I was celebrated with both breakfast and sparkling wine on my birthday. A warm and stylish gem in Gyeongju, highly recommended.

Soi Hanok Stay is an absolute dream. We had our own private entrance and outdoor seating area. The interior is straight out of a magazine - amazingly beautiful. You will need to be able to call in order to check-in as there is no “front office”, but the staff is wonderful and it was so worth it. I can’t wait to come back!

Great property and centrally located with a lot of restaurants and shops nearby. Different than a regular hotel but with same indoor amenities. Would definitely recommend staying if you want the authentic Korean feel.

The accommodation itself was absolutely breathtaking. Staying in a traditional hanok was a truly unique experience. The architecture, the wooden details, and the peaceful atmosphere made the place feel incredibly special and authentic. Everything was beautifully maintained, and the space had a calm, almost timeless feeling that made our stay even more memorable. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down and really appreciate the surroundings. A truly stunning and unforgettable stay.

Beautifully decorated and spacious room. It was hard to find after taxi driver let us off as no English signs. Thankfully the host came out to find us as we were lost. Beds are on the soft side, but comfortable. Room is above a restaurant so a bit noisy when we start sleeping but very quiet in the middle of the night and morning. We love the elegance of the room and highly recommend to experience the hanok style room.
