The receptionist was rather indifferent. The two-bedroom apartment hotel was in a wonderful area. We walked all over and with candor picked up the nearby metro 10-pass card. The large grocery store was two doors away, as were many cafes and bakeries. The room was huge, but noisy! We made no efforts to protest. Also, as one other contributor had mentioned, the wifi was subpar, and we had to do our online couid test, so we were worried. All in all, it was fine.

This hotel offers good value for money. There is a kitchenette provided, as well as a lounge and dining area. The hotel is a bit outside of Barcelona and a little bit closer to La Rambla, but there are plenty of nearby metro stations that are simple to use. The only drawback was that the wifi was not good. We ended up paying for the high-speed wifi, but it was not any better.

We were not interested in helping us find the solution or apologizing for the poor internet connection when we were discussing it with the front desk employee. The location is slightly out of the main area of Barcelona, but there is plenty of transportation close by. On our way to the hotel, we asked the gentleman at the receptionist if there was a laundry facility as part of the apartment building, he informed us no, and was unable to give us adequate instructions where one was. On our way up to the room, they were renovating the corridor directly outside our room, and the paint smelled through our room. When we returned to the front desk to inquire if there was possibly another room we could be moved to, we were curtly told no. Although the website claimed free and paid for wifi, the free wifi was a terrible connection that wouldnt load anything, so we spent for highspeed wifi in order to check in our flights. The wifi was not inexpensive and was no better than the free wifi, and it was unable to load anything. When we discussed this with the receptionist, he was not eager to solve the problem or apologize for the poor internet connection. After all, we couldnt wait to leave Barcelona and move on from this apartment.

The apartment is big and has a well-equipped kitchen and good restaurants, cafes and supermarkets downstairs. Close to the center but far enough away to be quiet and less busy. Beds are comfy and air conditioning is good though it took some time to cool the whole apartment was effective. Small and slow elevator but other than that great and staff are friendly and helpful.
