The room actually turned out to be a small apartment, so we had lots more space than expected. The accommodation was a little dated, but still well equipped. We also had a nice view of the pool from the balcony of our apartment. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good. All in all a very good experience at a reasonable price and I would definitely choose Hotel Rey Carlos again.

Stort og flott hotell med svømmebasseng. Veldig god service i resepsjonen. Bussen stoppet like ved hotellet.

Perfect location - close to the dunes and restaurants, shops. Beautiful pool and well-kept area around. Nice and comfortable renovated room. Beautiful view from the balcony.

Where to begin. We were thrilled to have found a room in the only genuine medieval castle on the island! We simply weren't aware we would be staying in the genuine dungeons. The rey carlos website had glossy images of newly renovated rooms and crisp cotton beds, and what we were presented with was actually medieval in style, quality, and condition. When we arrive, the castle theme is interesting, and the exterior is very well presented. The pool is small, but it's decent, and the pool bar is an obvious advantage. When you walk through the glass doors, there are many signs stating general hotel information, but a more appropriate sign is one in big red letters yealing abandon hope, all who enter! The room was dark and soiled. There were tiny bits of debris and metal fixtures in the corners as we headed up to our room. Sadly, nothing prepared us for what was awaiting us in our own dungeons. The bedroom's main light is a flimsy old iron structure with glass shades, a plethora of light. There was no electricity, so it remained ripped apart and had no slumber, which is quite unpleasant. We ate dinner on the first night, and after that, we decided to go out and pay for breakfast on the last night. Even though I have been in the area numerous
