In late February, we spent four days there, and we had a wonderful time. The lodge is strategically situated just 50 meters from the chairlift, and they have a strong association with the ski rental shop, which is only 10 meters from the lift, and these guys went above and beyond to assist with both our own gear and the equipment we had hired from them. We were given directions on arrival for parking under the lodge, but we never wanted or needed to see the car again. However, the main element of this location is the staff. Hendra, the manager, and his front-of-house personnel went above and beyond to make our stay ideal. Delicious food that was tailored to our schedules, including the fantastic afternoon tea brownies made by top chefs Charlie and his wonderful baking assistant. Also, breakfast had a variety of freshly prepared options. The short list of wine and beers was reasonably priced, and tea and coffee were available all day. If you wanted to mix with other visitors, the wifi in the lounge performed flawlessly, but the service in our room was less optimal, and there were games and newspapers available. Although you will be seated with the other residents at dinner, you can choose how to play it, but we enjoyed chatting to them and telling stories. Be back in no time. We had a great time.

This was our first time to an era, and both the chalet and ski resort have never failed to impress us. A cozy ski resort that is close to the lift and ski hire shops. Henry and his team took care of us with incredibly delicious meals prepared by Charlie and fun cocktails mixed by Matt to make sure we all had a great time. Henry was extremely helpful in arranging lift tickets, lunch reservations in the mountains, airport transfers, cabs, etc. Nothing was too much hassle. Thanks, era.

Another wonderful week at Chalet Elsa, with Larry and the rest of the amazing crew who amazingly looked after us. As a large group, chalet Elsa provided a great venue, and the location was ideal for hitting the slopes and unwinding. Very close to an elevator, lunch and dinner food and drinks, ski and snowboard equipment rental, and away from Baquira's business.

Ive stayed in ski resorts in all over the US and Italy, and they are generally pleasant, but they are also pricey. The era ski lodge was a pleasant surprise because our stay was longer, but at a much more affordable cost. This review is an excellent evaluation of the resort and the community. The cycling and skiing are excellent, and the personnel went above and beyond to ensure that all the things we wanted were available to us. And those breakfasts! The chef is the master of making the perfect omelet. If you plan to remain there, be sure to try the vintage restaurant, which is directly down the hill from the lodge. We had a great couple of nights there.

Because this was my first skiing vacation, I couldn't have asked for more! The entire team is fantastic and eager to meet your needs. Harry, the manager, is kind and helpful in arranging everything, including lessons for my daughter. A short walk from your room are the chair lift and ski hire. The rooms are wonderful, very spacious, the shower was powerful and had instant hot water, cleaned and replenished daily. We were on the ground floor, so we occasionally could hear sounds from people walking up the stairs outside or in the adjacent kitchen area, but it was to be expected. Thanks to Charlie, the chef, this is a family-friendly hotel, and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend the era ski lodge and will undoubtedly return.
