This hostel is just a few steps from the Central Bus Station. Near the hostel are numerous eateries and bars. The street it is on is quite calm. In the vicinity, there are many transit routes and buses. Around the corner is a modest grocery that offers more than just food. The ac didnt work very well in the early stages of the heatwave, as we were there. I tried to speak Spanish with the little I knew and was able to explain the issue and get the ac problem resolved. Although not entirely, given that the ac had seen better days. There was no remote control in the room, so we had to ask for one at the front desk. The room we got was not very roomy and could use some renovation, but the bathroom was undoubtedly quite spacious and newly renovated. Breakfast is not served at the hostel.

We spent two nights here. The employees were cordial but they did not speak English. We had a room on the ground floor that was very noisy. One night when we were done going to bed, we had to go and ask the receptionist to be quiet. There were a few power outlets, one in the bathroom and one for the to which was not functional. At the end of our stay, we discovered another power outlet behind the desk. We shouldn't complain too much because this hotel was affordable, but we didn't want to spend more time here. On the plus side, it was only a 5 minute walk to the central bus stop and nearby other attractions.
