The location is near the town center. We were seeing leopards and looking for accommodations nearby. The decoration is beautiful, there is a memory foam mattress and AC. Breakfast is provided in the wine cellar. Lots of antiques. The owner was great.

We stumbled on this place by chance, but it was worth the trip. We only stayed one night, but could have stayed longer if we had vacations. It appears to be around year-round, especially on weekends, with just 6 rooms and location not far from tourist attractions, but the day we stayed there we didn't see any one because it was a Saturday. Manolo, the proprietor, likes to converse and makes us laugh when he is asked about the area. Our room, which I believe it was named tierra, had an assured bathroom as well as a reading room with a nice assortment of magazines and books. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was adequate, and the decor was nice and appropriate for a restored house about 5 years ago. Breakfast was served on the first floor and we were unable to finish all that was prepared for us. Despite the hotel being quite charming, the village lacks its major characteristics. Overall, this cozy hotel is suitable for those who want to travel around El Banjo Dragon or call Matalana, a village with a lovely castle, both in the province of True in East Spain.

I made a reservation to travel in April and had reserved lodging at a hotel, but 28 days before my trip, the motel was shut down. I had to find a quick alternative and decided against Casa de la Fuentes. I eventually decided I had to call the proprietor when I arrived on my motorcycle in the pouring rain, and he came over a few minutes later to let me in. We were able to communicate with each other through very broken Spanish on my part, a lot of hand gestures, and no English on his part. The room was tiny but charmingly furnished, and it was adequate for my requirements. There is a hostel type of motel without a resident proprietor. The three days spent there were enjoyable, and the breakfast was fantastic. Although the city is very Spanish-speaking and few English-speaking, it is lovely, and the neighborhood eateries serve excellent food. It was unfortunate that the city was closed for traffic over the course of my stay, and there was a fantastic easter festival there. As an added advantage, it's worth watching.

When we went to the World ecv conference last weekend in a neighboring Alcaniz, my wife, Heather, and I remained here. Raquel and Manolo, who did their best even though they could not speak English, greeted us with open arms. They called their lovely wife Christine, who came over and gave us many advice. Our accommodation was little in no time, and we had trouble sleeping the first night due to the heat. We had difficulty sleeping for the entire two-week stay in Spain because of the high temperatures. They graciously brought in an electric fan the following night, which was helpful a little. The room was fairly clean, but the breakfast was incredible! It was like a banquet, and we felt sorry for having eaten more, but the heat again had diminished our appetites. For the following two nights, Christina took us to her new favorite restaurant in the hamlet. Parking can be difficult, but we parked directly outside each night. Steep slope and I must adjust my handbrake. They did a wonderful job of restoring the hostel, see the before and after photos in the bar. Many thanks.
