The hotel is old and dated, but it is well-located, close to a super-hybrid store, and offers complimentary, secure parking. The staff is pleasant and helpful, the rooms are clean and spacious, and our bed was extremely comfortable. The distance from the beach could be an issue, but why would you choose this location if you didn't have transportation? It's a classic touring destination like the Travelodge or the Premier Inn. There are cafes and eateries nearby, one we discovered just outside the parking lot that was within walking distance. The hotel serves a good buffet breakfast with plenty of options. They might even have a restaurant and cafe by the pool during peak season, but when we were there, these were closed. It would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities either in the rooms or in the common rooms.

The location of this hotel is okay if you have a car at your disposal. We especially enjoyed the free parking that was provided at the hotel. The room was decent, not particularly modern, but it had everything we needed. No wifi in the room but reasonable at the reception. Breakfast is very good. The room is very noisy. Very quiet neighborhood in the evening. We were not bothered by the nearby airway.

The room I stayed in, while old, was quite large and enough for a family, and the bathroom was clean and well-remodeled. The outdoor patio was big and had comfy oversize furniture. The pool was clean and lovely blue. Parking was always accessible and secure. The bar was light and airy, but my trip was cut short due to matters back home. It was a rude awakening that my online booking company charged my credit card for the entire length of my stay up front. The excellent staff arbitrated my problem with management, and they skillfully handled the booking company charge with a smile and returned the balance.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is not near the beach, but it's an eight-minute drive by car which is not bad. The staff are really friendly, the continental breakfast was very good. Nice and clean swimming pool. Free parking next to the hotel was a plus. The rooms were clean but a bit outdated and could use some upgrading, but it didn't bother us too much.
