We stayed at the Mar Blau Benidorm for the second time, for a week in June. We love the location, near the Old Town, overlooking Poniente Beach, within easy reach of countless bars and shops. We loved sitting on our private balcony, people watching and watching the doves in the trees. The staff were really helpful. The hotel provided a kettle, cups and glasses for the week. The hotel reception is always staffed, 24 hours a day. All the hotel staff are really polite and helpful. The air conditioning is really efficient and easy to use. There is a TV in the room. The ensuite shower room is quite big and has drawers were you can put all your bathroomy stuff. Our room was cleaned regularly and towels were changed/extra pillows supplied etc. as required. Mostly, we really love the location of the Mar Blau - right on the front, overlooking Poniente Beach and really near the Old Town.

The property was very clean, the staff were very helpful! Nothing was too much. Location was perfect opposite a stunning beach and lots of local restaurants and bars on your doorstop.

Vårt rum låg ut mot stranden. Fantastisk utsikt. Upplevde att det var rätt lugnt runt hotellet vilket var skönt när man skulle sova. Personalen i receptionen var gulliga men vissa hade svårt med engelskan.

Very clean in a great location. Bed was comfortable. Very clean but was basic. Only stayed 4 nights. Would stay for a very short break again.

Excellent location, staff went above and beyond extremely helpful & friendly. We had a street view room though not the best it was fine for the amount of time spent in the room, though next time i would pay the extra for a sea view room with balcony Air conditioning worked as it should, room was clean and a good size. Overall i would definitely book here again

Loved it here great aircon balcony overlooking the beach & lovely staff all speaking English. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy & reception is happy to give you a kettle & cups on request for that morning cuppa on the balcony.
