I would strongly recommend this place and would always stay here if I return to this area. Very welcoming family run hotel. The rear of the hotel faces the stunning beach of Ribadasola and offers a wonderful walk around the bay. Its a short walk across the bridge to the main town with lots of bars and restaurants to choose from.

I highly recommend this hotel if you want to relax, have amazing views and have a close proximity to the lovely town of Ribadesella. Our honeymoon experience was very enjoyable. They provide us with a top-floor room with fantastic views. The beds were comfy, the fridge was small, and the beach was reachable directly. They provide direct access to the beach. I played a little extra to secure a beach view room.

The personnel was warm and welcoming and could speak English, which is unusual for this location. The room was beautiful and clean, and we had a view of the beach, which was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast is possible as much as you want, all of it wonderful and fresh, with lots to choose from. Every day, the room was cleaned, with fresh supplies for the shower etc. if required. They don't appear to have kettles in spain's rooms, so if you drink tea like me, make sure you have one. I just went out and bought one cheaply enough. a fantastic beach for swimmers and surfers outside the hotel. There is plenty of fishing if you want it, and kayaking on the river is available. Also, if you can't get to the hostel next door, you can also do so on the camino de santiago trail.

I gave the hotel and more significantly, the employees there a good five well-deserved stars in my earlier trip advisor announcement in June 2017 in regard to Hotel Ribadesella Playa. In that posting, I mentioned that my wife and I planned to return to the Asturias region in the autumn of 2017 with a group of five friends to get a taste of what we now consider to be our spain. Well, last month's very successful visit happened. Because the surrounding environment is so different from our own, our pals were also amused by the ruggedness and natural beauty. The entire family stayed there for a very brief four-day stay because of our previous experience in the Hotel Riadesella Playa. I won't repeat this here, but I assure you that the hotel lived up to all expectations.

The room is good, the breakfast has a lot of options and well presented in a lovely room on the ground floor. Espresso pods not small capsules means good coffee is guaranteed. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was really good. Could not fault the hotel. Everyone is very helpful and friendly.
