We spent three nights here as part of a hiking holiday. The view from the terrace is magical and covers a vast amphitheater of mountains. The food was excellent. The chef there seems to know how to combine the flavours of local products to continually surprise and delight.

As a part of an independent walking trip booked through inn travel, we stayed here for three nights. Our hostess is ready and cheerful and lacks English. The room is simple, and the shower is hot and pretty powerful. Maria cooked us a tasty but basic Spanish supper on our est night. The hotel is clean, but maybe a bit worn out. The bed is comfortable enough, but there are rubber mattress covers! Given that this is a fairly remote location largely populated by walkers, we think the hotel is adequate, and some of the other reviews are a bit harsh. It is not elegant, but it is clean, and a hot shower is a godsend after a day of strenuous walking. Vallehermoso is a lovely little town with a lovely square where we enjoyed relaxing in the cafe with a beer at the end of the day and seeing both locals and walkers.

The mattresses are comfy and you can check them through to our rooms. Maria welcomed us as we entered the room and checked us through. It's not a hotel. The breakfast is excellent, with good local produce and all her dishes. The shower is hot enough from the solar heating. Great packed lunches ready for the walk over the next day to the chipped.

We had a walking holiday. We were greeted by Maria, who was extremely friendly and hospitable. After our long stroll, she was quick to provide us with a much needed drink on the terrace. The hotel is modern, and our rooms have their own private, roomy terrace. Maria prepared an amazing breakfast.

Various hotel employees have a strange sense of humor. The accommodations at the tops 9 and 10 needed a few flights of stairs, but they were large and had a nice dark wood floor, doors, and windows, and shutters and doors that led up to tiny balconies with views of the valley. Yes, people did play football on the nearby playing field, but they always seemed to finish by 7 so did not bother us. The receptionist was welcoming and we ordered dinner on the est night. We are vegetarians, and while EUR28 per head was not the cheapest, it was the best dinner we had in La Gomer, and the service was excellent. Final touches were a glass of delicious local spirit. The price includes 4 courses, wine, and water. The hotel breakfast was good, but the service was friendly and we enjoyed the eco-friendly approach, including the goat in the garden! Oh, and despite being solar and being there in February, the water in the showers was hot!.
