The hotel is clean and basic, the receptionist spoke no English and we speak no Spanish but we muddled through and the explanation how to use the electric front door key was available in English. The bed was comfortable, and when the taps in the bathroom shower did not work the manager immediately gave us the key to another room so we could use the bathroom there. It appeared there were hardly any other guests, which was probably just as well as you could hear every movement from other rooms. I wouldn't want to stay more than a few nights, but it was only 40 per night so you get what you pay for and at that price it was okay.

The price is quite affordable. The location is near to the monastery of la rabid and the muse of las caramels. The staff are nice and friendly. The room was fine and the wifi is fast and free. They have a calm place and a minimalist decoration. Luckily the place is safe and the environment is very close to the museum of the caramels.

The hotel was good, basic, for the ferry port. The staff was very nice and friendly, they had good dog language but communication was a problem because they couldn't speak English and were poor in their Spanish. Especially because we had to call them late at night and they could not help us.

Yes, the rooms were much nicer for comparable prices. The design is mediocre at best, the bathroom and the entire area need renovation, but the wifi was working and fast, the receptionist was friendly, the shower hot and pouring like it should, the terrace had a nice view, and the room was very quiet with good fresh air from the sea. I think at EUR 40 it is a good choice for one or two nights for visiting the area. Be sure to get a sea view room rather than one facing the street because there is a lot of traffic.
