Rooms were clean and comfy. Great showers. Food was freshly cooked. Tea and coffees free in the lounge. Nice views quiet location but can walk into town. Will stay again.

Diese Unterkunft zu bewerten ist uns ein besonderes Anliegen. Auf unserer Reise ca. 5000 KM durch Nordspanien ist dies sicher die absolut beste Adresse bei der wir wohnen durften. Enorme Freundlichkeit, super Atmosphäre. Sehr sehr wohl gefühlt und wirklich ausgezeichnet gegessen. Ich kann es wirklich jedem empfehlen. So viel Details von der Lage vom Garten Service etc. Unbedingt Abendessen und ein super Frühstück. Sehr sauber und gute Parkmöglichkeit. Dazu die besten Informationen. Einfach Danke.

Friendly, helpful owners and staff. The best dinner in a whole month in Spain in the restaurant. Lovely views. Lots of hot water for the showers. Only complaint was guests with barking dog.

We definitely would stay here again. We remained here for two nights. Parking is free at the motel. We were given a wonderful view room, but the bathroom had a foul odor. The host was extremely quick to solve the issue and gave us room 209. The following day, because the hotel was full on our first night, a new room was provided to us. Before the next visitors arrived, they also assigned someone to examine the issue. Both of our rooms had breathtaking mountain views. A lovely shower with a variety of functions was present. We frequently struggle with lack of street noise. The bed was huge and cozy. The towels were soft. Very welcoming hosts who both speak diverse languages. They provided us with excellent advice on how to schedule our walks for the day. There were many hot and cold breakfast options. Breakfast brown bread was delicious. You must specify a time to go to breakfast the night before. Also, you are given a sheet to mark what you want for breakfast and hand it to the day's waitress. They have a decent system. There are some excellent restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, Arenas de cables.

We stayed for two nights when we were hiking in the area. Rooms were small but clean, area was quiet and safe. The restaurant in the hotel was very good and the hotel was a short walk into town where there were other good restaurants and some shopping.

Pilar, the manager, and her daughter Sara were amazing and we had the best hotel experience so far during our tour of northern Spain. The view, room, bed, food, and wifi were top notch (the blanket / comforters were unforgettable) as was the view from our window!

I only intended to spend one night here as a break on my way home after attempting the north Camino but enjoyed it so much I stayed an extra night and intend to return in future . I had dinner in hotel , excellent particularly meeting my veggie requirements . Got lift to start of cares gorge walk and good directions for other walks . Perfect for my needs .

Het hotel is kleinschalig van opzet, met naar keuze ontbijt en diner en wordt gerund door een echtpaar, beiden prima Engels sprekend. De vrouw des huizes is jarenlang berggids geweest en kan fantastische adviezen geven voor prachtige wandelingen in de bergen. Het hotel kijkt voor uit naar de Picos, en achter naar rustieke weides (met veel koeien met klingende bellen om hun nek). Je loopt vanuit het hotel zo naar het dorpje voor een borrel of diner. Parkeren voor de deur. De kamers zijn netjes, en comfortabel.

A wonderful place to stay; friendly and welcoming, with stunning views to the mountains from the front bedroom windows. Excellent food and great hospitality. Waking up each morning to the sound of cow bells drifting across the valley is hard to beat!

Overall a fantastic hotel run by an owner that understands and anticipates its patrons. A wonderful room with breathtaking views directly over the surrounding mountains was well worth the trip alone. On a walking holiday, we traveled with the exodus, and we couldn't have asked for better service or location. All meals, including our hearty packed lunches, were excellent and cleverly thought out to accommodate all tastes. Nothing was too much bother for the staff, from filling water bottles to providing wrapping materials for additional walking snacks. The evening meal was outstanding and of far superior quality than we had anticipated. The bar and garden terrace with a view of the mountains were a lovely place for a drink after dinner.

I will come back here again. The hotel is really great, with great views of Torrecerredo and the pickes and restaurants, the staff was very nice and knowledgeable, the room was clean, the food was delicious, and it was worth the price, and the atmosphere was very calm and friendly.

We arrived during the covid-19 crisis. Jim, the owner, was exceptional in directing us through the procedures to be safe. Once the clouds cleared, our room was cozy and featured a view of the mountains. We had to alter our plans due to the covid 19 accident. We stayed an additional few days because Jim was very kind. Jim was knowledgeable and showed us some beautiful local walks, as well as maps and transportation to the start and finish points. Both cars and motorcycles can be parking off-road. I will undoubtedly return to this motel.

I came here on my second visit and I enjoy it too. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are clean and the location is good for all kinds of activities from sight seeing to serious walking. But what sets the hotel apart from others is the personal touch. In the evening, youll learn everything you need to know about Jim and his wifes local knowledge. But, I must thank Ade. This young lady is always present. This is a quiet place to stay with some pretty experienced locals and more knowledge.

Vistas preciosas, si te tocan las habitaciones que dan a los picos. Atención y servicio buenísimos, el unico pero es que nos dieron camas separadas. Por todo lo demás ninguna queja.
